If GGG won the first fight on the cards would you have wanted to see a rematch?

Maybe, I'd rather see him fight Saunders first if the judges were fair in the first match.

I wouldn't have been crying out for one, but would have been perfectly happy to see it.

If GGG had rightfully gotten the nod in the first fight I wouldn't be opposed to a rematch but neither would I see the pressing need for it either. Golovkin would probably have fought Saunders by now and done the SD defence too. Clenelo really screwed up GGG's timelines here.

The uproar by the media was because of the one judge who scored it one sided, most had it within the window of 115-113 either way. Plenty had Canelo winning it close, so yes a rematch would have caught the interest of all regardless had they scored for GGG the first time.

Canelo is a nightmare for all GGG fans, they just wish he would go away.

When Canelo clearly boxes Golovkin's ears off in September, something tells me you're going to be crying for their to be a third match.

The fight was relatively close enough and there was enough money to be made, so a rematch would have happened regardless of whether GGG got the decision or not. Maybe GGG would have gotten 50% if he got the decision, so the bad decision screw him out of some money.

I don't think the first fight was close. Some people here want it to remembered to be close for their agenda, triangle theory that pbf greater than ggg via common opponent canelo. Those agenda people are stupid and boring and spoil this website.

I thought the Jacobs fight was much closer. I think Jacobs would beat both Charlos and is an excellent fighter.

Canelo can't outbox Golovkin because he has hamster lungs and can't take GGG's power. His only hope is the backfoot and we're going to see another marathon.

In no universe does Floyd beat Golovkin at 160, and neither does he beat a non-drained Canelo at 160 either.

Marathon? Really? You sound like a boxing novice.

It was a good fight and the reason for that was the fact that there was plenty of exchanges throughout the combat.
Nobody can stand toe-to-toe vs GGG and Canelo was smart enough to know that but he still managed to get the best of Gennady at times while doing just that.

Fair post, except for the irony of being called a boxing novice by ElCyclon ;)
