The way he cuts off the ring, punches to the body, uses the jab, and set up his punches is incredible. He is a more cerebral version of Gerald imo and I'm honestly starting to think that he should be favored over everybody at 147( except Thurman if he comes back healthy and in old form)
His main flaw is that he loads up on his shots and I think a guy like Crawford will see that **** coming and be able to move out of the way. The hard part is who can keep Spence off them? The guy is a machine and a body snatcher.
Thurman is like the 3rd best fighter at 147. Spence and Crawford is the real battle at 147 as they are both top 3 p4p fighters.
Crawford does not have the Resume to match Thurman and Spence. Both Thurman and Spence would've stopped Horn way earlier than Crawford.
Spence fights behind sound fundamentals. He is at least as talented as Crawford and bigger and definately the harder puncher. I don't see Crawford getting by as he has on natural talent alone against a guy as equally as talented who fights a fundamentally sound fight.
I have nothing against Spence, but I hope Sacky Shikukutu knocks him out and becomes a household name.
Whether he has the resume or not is debatable. One thing is not debatable though and that's Crawford is a superior fighter to Thurman.
You noobs need to stop making threads about X fighters after a fight (especially against tomatoes) proclaiming all kinds of BS.
I really like Spence but he's going to have real problems with guys with good technical abilities. I hope to see the two best guys give him the opportunity to see how good he really is.
Not necessarily. Thurman has the superior footwork, foot speed, power, hand speed, athleticism, and defense. Crawford just has slightly more tools.
