Manny Pacquiao vs. Marcos Maidana.

When rumors Pac- Maidana were floating that MM is definitely more rugged/better all around than current Matthysse. I always thought Maidana2.0 with Garcia would give Manny problems.

Rumors we're going on after Mayweather I or II can't remember that was Maidana's best shot. 140 Maidana would lose to Pac though, Ancient Morales & other fights are telling. Also new to 147 Maidana loses to Pac but going off the timeline fight couldn't have happened then.

Depends when I think. Khan dropped Maidana with a beautiful body shot and boxed his way to victory in a great bout, Pac could have definitely done that as well. That being said, Maidana got better later on and he did have power. Besides, anything can happen in a fight. Would have been pretty interesting to see this in 2009-2012

 

Would have been a great fight at their prime. I still think Pac would win convincingly.

 

I'd pick Pacquiao to take it for sure. Not just the speed but the motor. I see Pac's quick straights coming at an angle that Maidana's defense wasn't made to evade or block... I suspect Maidana would have his brief moments and if he caught Pac early to the head or body it could be a wild ride. But I certainly pick Pac to win, hands down.

 

Maidana also had a fight signed with Tim Bradley that he pulled out of with injury. He has since stated the injury was fake, that his manager and trainer were unhappy with terms of the deal or something and advised him to back out. He said he regretted it.

To make things worse as far as "what could have been," he was signed on to fight Robert Guerrero at 140 at a time when it would have been pure fireworks. That fight would have been awesome. And that's when Guerrero tore his shoulder and was sidelined for 12-16 months, returning at 147 to go on his Aydin-Berto-Floyd run.

A certain large percentage on here, based on their words and stresses, would like you to emphasize Morales being roided to the gills for that fight.
