The PED makes Fighters more effective. It will allow an athlete to realise maximum potential beyond what’s Is considered legal. Does anyone dispute this?

Years ago a heavy guy, a guy too heavy for his own size could gass out much quicker. Carrying excess weight effects stamina. A fighter can not perform as well when he is fatigued. His technique goes out of the window. Can anyone dispute this?

My theory is this. In the sport of boxing there were largely physical limitations to what could be achieved with the biggest of men. Of course there are exceptions. In recent generations we see more exceptions among the biggest men.

Is it a coincidence these former limitations have been overcome around the time PEDs entered all sports? What are the odds?

 

Is getting methodically beaten down and KO'd doing quite well (Johnson, Peralta Qawi)? And are we talking 73 Foreman or 91 Foreman (Holyfield)?
