If Crawford was a natural 160 pounder would he beat GGG?

Crawford has more skill but GGG has the better jab, footwork, and is great as applying pressure. I think if all things were equal this would be 50/50.

hard to tell. i think they are both at their natural weight now and bud has only beaten an andrade level fighter, i dont know how he would do against a canelo level fighter or even a jacobs. spence is his ggg and garcia is his canelo, only because i think thurman is done at the highest levels. i would favor ggg till i see crawford handle spence, which im sure he cant handle.

If Ricardo Lopez were a heavyweight, he wouldn't be Ricardo Lopez.

If the Queen had balls, she’d be King.

He ain’t 160, no reason to ponder what if.

A guy with elite skills like Loma or even ATG Floyd couldn’t be blown up to a natural heavyweight and we assume their skills remain the same. The reason they are so fast, agile, athletic, precise, etc is the fact they are small. They wouldn’t be all of that if they were 6’3” 235.

Crawford did to Horn what Golovkin did to Lemieux. They both took advantage of their opponents biggest flaw(Canelo has the same flaw but he adapted).
Both Horn and Lemmy have a huge tale: they lean on the front leg before committing to a punch. Alvarez does the same but he realized Golovkin was timing him off of it, and Alvarez took advantage of that.

So they both have shown similar level of ring IQ and they are both clearly extremely skilled. But Crawford doesn´t have the resume.

now as a weightcutting natural 168 pouder I don't think he has much of a chance. let alone if he was smaller, like a natural 160 pounder.

What would a T-Rex sized spider do to a T-Rex?

We already know that a human sized spider is 8 times faster than a human.....

    Silly thread.

But he isn't a MW, never will be, so would have no chance against GGG.

If David Price had a chin and stamina he'd be dangerous
If Luis Ortiz wasn't a pensioner he would have beaten Windmill
    ...

Oh the ifs and buts of life.

If 126lb GRJ can separate Crawford from his senses imagine what Gennady would do to him. Even on the Canelo/Jacobs supplementation program Crawford wouldn’t be able to stay upright for more than 8 rounds.

Crawford would make a decent account of himself like Brook and for a few more rounds, but would be wore down and stopped with big shots to both the body and head.

Probably he would beat him. Speed is the difference which makes guys elite in the sport.
