Why do some people think Canelo was not on the juice for the first GGG fight?

I thought he was being stripped of that anyway? Or have the IBF let him off now there is a load of money coming their way?

Again, you don’t know what his stamina would have looked like had he been clean (assuming he wasn’t). Without help, he may have gotten blasted out of there in 6-8 when GGG started to go to work and Canelo was fading.

Just because his stamina and endurance is (and was always) **** doesn’t mean he wasn’t on something. It’s a poor conclusion to think only the biggest punchers are on anabolic steroids and the highest output guys are on stimulants.

It’s impossible for anyone to verify (or deny) the benefits of using PED’s. But it’s safe to say they help in some capacity, whether in training leading up to the fight or the fight itself. I think he used Clen to preserve muscle in boiling down to “Caneloweight” for awhile and still needed it at 160. What it takes for these guys (who are already lean) to get down to make weight is very damaging to muscle mass. ANY help is an advantage. Nobody should deny how large he looked comparative to previous fights, even at 164 for JCCJ. There’s solid reasoning to think he had help.

    Thats just a stupid comment.

Its stupid to think he'd roid up in his first fight under the WBC clean boxing program and its stupid to think his stamina could have been worse than it already was.
Canelo is an extremely dedicated and hard working athlete yet he did fade throughout the fight and fought in a conservative manner in order to maintain a moderate out-put over 12 rounds.

I don't believe that a clean prime 27 year old Canelo would train like a beast in the best camps money can buy , yet turn up and display WORSE conditioning.
Logic states that his conditioning and stamina would have been far better had he been on athletic performance enhancers. Because it is NOT possible it could have been any worse.

Example.. He threw more total punches and more power punches against Angulo in 10 rounds than he did against GGG in 12 rounds.
    Angulo - 309 power punches
    Golovkin - 272 power punches

The main purpose of taking clen is to increase athletic performance. We all saw the effects clen had on Lucas Browne when he danced around Chaggy full of energy before knocking him out.
Clean Browne against Whyte was a statue in the middle of the ring who gassed out after a few rounds.

Canelo was likely disappointed with his conditioning in the first fight and decided to chance his arm by using clen for the rematch. But for the first fight he tested clean and displayed no signs in his performance that he was roided up on performance enhancers.

    :duh:duh:duh

    Dino logic at work.

Canelo was too busy getting smacked in the gob and running away from GGG to throw lots of punches.

It's easy to throw lots of punches when the other guy is small, you are big and have the advantage.

No disrespect to Angulo, who is a good fighter, but Golovkin would wipe his feet on him.

ok. you'd be a great judge. all the pedo's and murderers would be walking the streets and the 'unproven' would be behind bars.
    great logic there mate.

link me the evidence, 'evidence' where he was caught juicing the first fight.
