Al Cole, former cruiser champ. He knocked him out in one round even though he had never been stopped and boxed Kirk Johnson to a draw.

Wlad never had the balls to throw the type of bomb Rahman landed on Lewis

Al Cole was a damn good CW. As a HW, never a contender.

Dusting him in one after he gave Kirk Johnson problems is a good win.

    You're wasting your keystrokes.

    Nothing to see there.

Just Dino off his meds again.

    Time to move along, folks.

Wladimir didn’t need 2 shots at Hasim Rahman. Nor did he need to nervously await the judges decision with Ray Mercer. Who beat more Southpaws?

Ask any fighter & they will tell you Its the punch you don't see coming that gets you. Lennox took NcCall & Rahman lightly
Oliver had his eyes closed when his punch KO'd Lennox
As for Rahman Lennox was partying with Clooney & Pitt rather than train He was late getting to S Africa wasn't acclimatized/ Credit to Rahman he took advantage of an
ill prepared Lennox The same lackluster approach almost
cost him against Vitali Lennox should have retired undefeated it really was his own fault he didnt

Damn it! I just knew some brainiac would come along and play the southpaw card on me, completely undermining my argument for Lewis. I don’t how many, if any, southpaws Lennox fought; I do seem to vaguely recall Wlad fighting at least one. That southpaw was kind of a pudgy guy, semiretired fighter, semipro golfer if my memory serves. No matter, I’m sure Wlad kicked his...uh oh never mind

This shouldn't even be much of a discussion. Wlad would be alike a Lewis-lite, at the best.

Beautiful two shots though... 'Boom! Will Rahman get up or have the tables been turned!?'

peak Wlad would have destroyed that Lewis. Horrible performance aside from the one shot ktfo.

Best for best, this really isn't a debate. Lewis is infinitely better and there is no decent arguement to the contrary. I shudder to think what Wlad's record would look like if he'd faced Lewis' opppositon.

I understand the Rahman argument, but H2H matchups need to be focused on fighters at their best. I don't even give Wlad a punchers chance.

Those quoting Steward need to remember he was training Wlad at the time. He would have rated him above Hearns PFP and the time if he thought it was the right thing to say.

Prime for prime Lewis KO's him in 5.
