Rios vs Ortiz? Rios lost a hard fight with Danny Garcia. Ortiz got a gift draw that he lost to Alexander. Im going with Rios, more heart.

    A warrior-punching bag vs. a glass-warrior.

Should make for good action. Either Ortiz gets knocked out early/mid or he wins the distance.

I don't care about the "rivalry/beef" element. I just want a "loser retires" clause.

I heard in an interview Rios said he was broke thats why he came back. Im not sure if that is true or he was just joking around. He make 500,000 for the Garcia fight, hopefully he gets 1 more good pay day and can call it a career.

The "rivalry/beef" aspect is about the only thing that would make this fight interesting to me otherwise it's totally irrelevant and a bit too late.

I find it interesting that everyone says that Ortiz is shot for the past couple of years but he is only 31 years old. Ortiz has the physical ability to compete with almost anyone, he just breaks down mentally. I really think Teddy Atlas could help Ortiz with the mental aspect of fighting.

Ortiz was jerked off with that Alexander draw, he should had got the decision, we all know that, it's tough to actually change history.

If both come in their best possible Fighting shape for themselves right now I feel to see a winning formula for Rios

I fully believe Ortiz would body bag any Verizon of Rios that's ever got out of his own bed.

As long as Ortiz was sent Fighting shqpe he should never have real problems beating a Rios

I guess I don't follow social media wars and a decade+ old sparring tale doesn't do anything for me...

Teddy destroys mentally weak fighters. You've gotta be kidding.

if he had the physical ability to compete with anyone he would not break down mentally. Something is missing physically which makes him break down. If a guy does not have it mentally. I don't think someone will help them with that. They can motivate a guy to fight better, but a mentally weak guy cannot be helped by someone. Teddy cannot fight for him.

The way to beat Ortiz is to pressure him non stop, Rios knows he will have to go war but will come out with the victory.

Rios should have retired after the 3rd Alvarado fight(or Bradley fight). Now, there's (somehow) a serious chance that he'll be an "opponent" for another 2-3 years and do serious harm to himself.
