Tyson didn't get in too many wars and none of his losses are great watches aside from Buster Douglas. He's great if you love KO's. He's the best fighter to show a compilation video of his highlights to somebody who isn't into boxing. Entertainment as far as their life story and career written in a book; Joe Louis gets my vote. I might go with Joe Louis if the judgment is strictly in ring as well. Other older cats for me include Salvador Sanchez, Tommy Hearns, and Ray Robinson. Recently, fighters under 40 lets say, I go with Kazuto Ioka, Nonito Donaire, Giovani Segura, and Victor Ortiz.
I loved watching Emmanuel Augustus. That man epitomizes boxing Any one, Anywhere, Anytime just give me time to get there I watched him fight many times Saw he outfight his opponent but get robbed AGAIN!! I asked him how he felt about it He said "You saw the fight you know who really won that's all that matters. What would surprise me if they ever gave me a dec I didn't deserve " Should be in the HOF
It all depends on what you like. I'd say Arturo Gatti is one of them. Tommy Hearns is my favorite fighter so to me he's one of the most entertaining fighters. Recently I've really enjoyed all of Lomachenko's fights. If it wasn't for Lomachenko I probably wouldn't be watching boxing anymore. You just can't help but appreciate how good he is.
Gatti in terms of what happened in the ring. But if you're talking about the whole package, Hamed for me, from the Prince persona, the mad entrances, the flip into the ring, the flip when he got up off the canvas, the crazy style, that motor mouth and that crazy power. You couldn't ignore him if you tried, love him or hate him, he entertained you. Kind of bizarre he was so quiet and stayed out of the lime light after he retired. He seemed to love the attention.
