Lewis wouldn't of gotten caught by the left hook, he did very well vs left hookers, Morrison and Tua as example. But Wlad's right was more than powerful enough to KO Lewis and the Rahman 1 Lewis would of gotten KO'ed for sure, worst version of Lewis I've ever seen, hell David Price would probably KO him that night, Lewis was that fricken bad. Overweight, barely trained, hadn't acclimatised to the altitude, fought like a total idiot. In comparison when Wlad fought Brewster was basically his night of stupidity. He fought at an utterly stupid pace and got KO'ed for it, but at least he showed up in shape, Lewis didn't even do that for Rahman.

McCall and Mercer would probably outlast pre-Steward Wlad and stop him late, but Bruno, shot Tucker and mentally fragile Golota wouldn't beat him. I'd give past-prime Holyfield (who beat Lewis in rematch on my card) the best shot to beat prime version of Wlad.

This isn’t even an argument surely! Lewis was far far the better technician, matched up for single shot power but had a much wider repertoire of KO punches. Lewis knew how to break down fighters better than Wlad and would have bullied Wlad before knocking him out. I like and respect Klitschko but he would never have coped with Lewis!
Bruno would be a 50-50 IMO. He was a strong HW, with one of the best jabs we've seen. His jaw could let him down, but that can be said of Wlad as well. And bruno did a couple of wars with Iron Mike. A safety first version of Wlad would probably have the best shot. If I remember correctly, Bruno was up on the cards before getting stopped by Lewis too. Golota, well, maybe 55-45 in favor of Wlad. Depending on how Wlad approached it. Golota got taken out when guys went right after him. Could Wlad do that? Sure. Would he? Well, that's not his style. But being the boxer Wlad was, outboxing the Foul Pole wouldn't be impossible to envision. Despite his fragile mentality, Golota was a very good boxer. Just a bit bi-polar.
It's not. Lewis is clearly the superior fighter. But the discussion does allow for examples to bring to light the differences.
