Max schmeling a big puncher? Lmao
Schmeling was not even close to lyle in hitting power department, not even close.
And yes. Joe louis had a mediocre chin

It is your opinion, another thing would be if anybody will agree with this nonsense.

Lyle was much better than galento and buddy baer and both them did hurt louis badly

It's NOT my opinion that Lyle didn't knock out ranked contenders as a rule.

    That's fact.

In arguing that Lyle might knock out ****ing Joe Louis it's a "ridiculous argument" to mention that he didn't knock out many good fighters?

My argument is simple... Louis got hurt and was down by 2 guys that were worse than lyle and probably did not hit as hard

    My argument is simple.

Lyle wasn't that good and was the type of guy Louis chewed up absolutely routinely.

Lyle has gone about as far on his war with Foreman as Dempsey did his with Firpo.

But yes, it's possible that Lyle would connect and hurt Louis.

Louis didn't look hurt to me when Galento dropped him ,he looked pissed off. After getting untangled from the ropes against Baer, Louis didnt look fazed at all to me. I don't think either, "badly hurt him." Nor would I call his chin "mediocre".

Louis was very good in several departments but his chin was not one of them

it is not truth at all, in fact lyle would be the best puncher that a prime louis fought.
I am not picking lyle to win,but he got a much better chance than what you are giving him

Lyle hit hard, but he didn't hit concussively. He was a "thumper" for want of a better word, and a lot of stuff he threw was hard.

I'm satisfied that Walcott and Schmeling were both more devastating punchers and both have the KOs to prove it.

Probably stood in front of a machine that measures power, Lyle would landed the heaviest punch. In the ring, he landed almost zero concussive punches against meaningful opposition. Here's the reason for that:

    he wasn't that good.

    Early KO for Joe.
