Interesting fight. I see Jackson smashing in a counter shot and wobbling Benn badly, then Benn smashing in finishing counter shots from the follow-up attack from Jackson. Benn stoppage.

Nigel didn't keep his head still and body erect and upright for a moment for Julian to strike a measured KO blow.

I like Benn in this a little more durable and the naturally bigger man. Back and fourth war for couple rounds then Nigel gets the knockout maybe hit the canvas beforehand.

I really hoped this.fight would happen .looked possible in 90/91would of been awesome .two of the hardest hitting guys ever meeting in the ring fight of the year I think.I favor Benn but anything could happen .

I too would favour Benn but i sure wouldn't bet on it, Jackson could very easily land a big bomb first and put Benn's lights out.

Benn has too much heart and mental toughness, the way to beat Benn is to outbox and gradually break him down like Watson and Eubank did, Jackson was an amazing puncher but he didn't have the skill to win here IMO.

Benn would take him out Herol Graham could have dominated the fight with him and won and I remember it well He just lost concentration or something was not right

    Benn is no Graham.

He'd bounce off the ropes to take Jackson though, unless he stood straight up in front of him.

I think Jackson's much technique would be the difference in punching in-between Benn's wider arsenal.

Jackson by early KO. Unless Benn has a corrupt ref to save him.

What a fight. Nigel goes for the knockout in a whirlwind way and Jackson sort of waits for the perfect counter. Could Julian withstand Nigel's whirlwind. I see Julian maybe stopping Nigel. I go back and forth on fights like this. it is sort of like Cuevas vs. Hearns, but that one happened. Whoever lands first wins, and Tommy landed first and last obviously. Nigel would give Julian many counters, and Julian even hit McCallum with something in round one, so I think he would connect.

JJ could not see — detached retina(s), right?

So after getting dissected for a few rounds he did the smart thing ... set himself up in a corner and made “Bomber” Graham come to him. And with Herol right in front of him, Julian dropped the real bomb. Guy was asleep before he even started to fall.

I see Jackson throwing shorter, straighter punches and catching Benn early ... probably first round since Nigel is going to come out like a house afire, as always ... but JJ doesn’t let him off the hook. Jackson TKO 1 in an action fight fought at a nitro glycerine pace.

Benn survived McClellan and others he could survive JJ....Jackson can spark anybody but with Benn he would have to fight in circles and possibly backing up....IMO Benn hit harder punch for punch than McCallum and McCallum stopped him offensively Benn may be better than McCallum

This one could go either way, just a question of who lands big first.

Benn hit a lot harder than McCallum! That was a BS stoppage though, Jackson in less trouble than McCallum was the previous round.

Benn was never iced, he could be wobbled badly by short little chops which was strange considering huge overhand full power rights from Eubank and McClellan couldn't stretch him out. Benn was just odd and at his most dangerous when wobbled!
