Lol @ you trying to play it off like he's some young prospect with no experience. LMAO the man is 27 years old. Damage control? LOL. I thought Taylor would absolutely kill this 34 year old version of Postol who has no momentum at all. His previous 2 fights he looked awful. Against Crawford he was humiliated, his last fight was controversial. If anything this makes Crawford's stock rise a **** load.

Taylor was 12-0 when he fought a 29-1 Postol and he had never been past 9 rounds before

Crawhype was 28-0 and had been into the 10th or longer 5 times and had 6 world title fights under his belt

Disgraceful cards but Taylor did win the fight.

Taylor couldn't beat Postol the way Crawford beat him on the outside. Postol was dominating Taylor on the outside. Let's not act like that was an option.

Nah, it's not the opponent. His opponent is good and he proved it tonight, purposefully trying to make him look **** by claiming Postol is "shot" is extremely disingenuous. I see absolutely nothing to suggest Postol is in some kinda decline here, the shape he's in, the workrate he put out, the punches he stood up against, his attitude. Postol hasn't lost a step.

Too true pal,you should check out Precise Punchers breakdown of that fight, whilst Crawford was doing his best impression of Andre Ward,Postal had plenty of success albeit none of it was counted.
There were times tonight I thought Taylor was gonna go out on his sword but isn’t this just what we wanna see as fans of boxing, there’s a misconception in boxing that the Crawford and Mayweathers of this world are the skilled boxers and that the Taylors and Golovkins are just lucky power punchers.

I think Taylor and the Mcguigans should feel very pleased with themselves. That was a very risky fight. Pistol is still world class and in his 13th fight Taylor was a deserved winner (although cards were silly). Won't be long until he's world champ.

    Those cards!
1 judge ONLY gave postol the opening round!
The other 2 both scored the first for Taylor! All 3 paid off clearly

Another day another RBR that you've taken the fun out of with your crap. Can you just put the agenda away for once and enjoy the fights like everyone else? Odd quip is fine, but to seriously drag your crap throughout the entire main event. FFS. What is wrong with you?

He's very good. I don't see 'special' but world class ye definitely. Be great following his journey. Very good win. He'll only get better too.. He looked a tad wild at times but experience & maturity will curb that over the next few fights. You can't blame him for being nervy against a huge step up like that. Respect for testing himself! Classy fighter's both, great watch & all in all Taylor is on course to be a world champion. Groves looked in good nick too.. Can't wait to see him back!

The funny thing is Taylor was clearly way more tense than he usually is and that really affected his performance. He's usually much more relaxed and everything flows much more smoothly. He was loading up a lot and missing with big shots which is unlike him. Granted Postol's height, range and skill caused him problems but I could see he wasn't as relaxed as usual and wasn't using his boxing brain as much as he should of.
