    True
King Kong was the avoided man at HW and he had Wilder dancing for a moment TBH but Wilder put the monster in the closet

It might be that both camps are just talking bull**** as their mutual plan to promote this fight which should happen in 2019.

That’s because it’s the Bronze Bomber that will be fighting, but it’s Deontay Wilder that needs to sign the contract. It’s all very complicated with these 3rd parties.

Neither fighter wants it - not this year. Too much risk. If they did it would have been sorted by now.

We are in the era of the HW Snowflake generation.

I am beginning to think neither side wants it and it has now become a game of one-upmanship in regards to who can make it appear as though they have done the most to make the fight.

Okay Deontay you made a hour long interview and you didn't talk about if the AJ fight is set, who maybe your next opponent if a Joshua fight fails, no you talked **** about how Eddie Hearn is a slave master and how Anthony Joshua is a puppet. Stop with the BS Deontay.

A lot of people wouldn't even know who Deontay Wilder was if it wasn't for Eddie Hearn. Eddie's promoted Wilder better than Wilder's promoter or Wilder himself, Bumsquad should be more appreciative.

I believed that Matchroom were ducking, until when I watched the vid, MJP asked him for all of 5 seconds about the contract they'd been sent where Wilder promptly clammed up like a thief in a police interview. For some reason MJP decided not to follow up on it. Jury's out for me now.

Did he mention the contract that has been handed to him to sign?

Eddie Hearn wants to stream the fight on DAZN in the U.S. (Even though DAZN doesn't exist yet in the U.S. and Hearn wants this fight to be the first showcase bout.)

Wilder has a contract with Showtime. Showtime wants the fight on Showtime PPV and they want to stream it. Many of their subscribers only subscribe to their streaming service.

Showtime has 29 million subscribers in the U.S.

DAZN has zero subscribers in the U.S.

Wilder's team is talking to Showtime to try to overcome the streaming issue which Hearn created.

Hearn knows Wilder has a deal with Showtime. But Showtime (Espinoza) has been building this Wilder-Joshua fight and don't want to have to share the PPV proceeds with a network that doesn't even exist in the U.S. at the moment and will be a direct competitor of theirs when it does exist.

This has been discussed extensively with the players on Twitter. Espinoza isn't budging.

If Hearn hadn't signed and launched his DAZN "project" none of this would've happened. Hearn threw a wrench in the negotiations by insisting DAZN stream it. Hearn is the roadblock here.

    Not the fighters. Hearn.

    Which sucks.

29 million people in the U.S. have Showtime. They just have to push a button to watch it.

The fight was difficult enough to agree to, and now it depends on not only convincing Showtime to let Wilder walk away from his contract, or convince Showtime to SHARE the PPV ... but they also have to convince people to order a new SUBSCRIPTION STREAMING SERVICE that has NO reputation in the United States ... and once they have it, convince them to order the fight.

    Hearn screwed everyone over.

Since Eddie caused the hold up by wanting Showtime to give up the fight, I wonder why wilder did not mention that in that hour long rambling interview he gave just recently

If Eddie brought that new streaming service as a stipulation, he’s a reason to fight is not happening as he knows Wilder has a showtime contract and Showtime will not open the door for a direct competitor

Eddie knows that; he must not want to fight but is using that as an excuse

Why does everyone get sucked into taking sides on this?Im telling you now this positively reeks of a psy op with both sides in on this,of course I could be wrong but I’d say both sides do not want this fight just yet, even Montero said this fight wouldn’t happen till 2019.

Wake up,this is exactly what they want us to do,picking sides and blaming one or the other for it not happening cause sure as anything the whole thing stinks with imaginary 50million dollar offers without contracts and more of the same from Hearns side,it’s quite pathetic cause if they really wanted it now it would be done behind closed doors.
