Is it possible.. just saying this out loud, I'm asking a question.. it is possible..

NEITHER OF THEM REALLY WANT IT?

Yes I know Wilder is on around $2 million a fight but it's still millions, we talk on here like it's dong some overtime LOL he isn't fighting for free and he has the prestigious WBC title and all that goes with it, fame, attention, so he is on a good thing, he gets paid 6 million dollars a year for fighting the likes of Stiverne, Breazeale and a old man with a heart condition and a reputation.

And Joshua has this Wembley/Cardiff thing going, filling arenas, huge PPV's, beating up an old Klitschko, Molina and next up Povetkin and he hold three belts and has the fame and all that goes with it.

Could they both consider each other a risk not worth taking?

5 minutes of listening to that idiot ramble on incoherently is almost too much... An hour would be pure torture. Any "Logistically somebody credibility." moments? Wilder likes to butcher the English language in absolutely hilarious ways.

That cuts right through the partizan hyperbole. A very plausible explanation....

Quite possible,to be honest this is one fight I’m quite happy to wait till next year for, don’t know why but it’s clear to me that neither wants it just yet.
You know what bugs me though about it,it’s that with social media ect neither wants to be known as a ducker and the promoters don’t wanna get stick for delaying it so they spin us this BS.
Should just come out and say we’d rather let it build as I don’t believe either are scared of each other

    I agree 100%

Also what is being missed by a lot of boxing fans.. this is promotion, it's crazy I know, but promoters promote.

All this back and forth and the accusations get us boxing fans talking and then arguing and once we are all arguing and opinions are sharply divided they know it's going to sell HUGE but they wont strike yet, they need more..

people love picking sides, love arguments, love a cause, so casual boxing fans in big numbers will start really picking up on this sooner or later and that's what they are waiting for, once the casuals start demanding the fight then if it is going to be made it will be made.

There is little on this earth worse than an AJ supporting casual.

Hmmm I don't know, what about a Fury supporting casual? Some of them even use the word "lineal" now.

If Hearn, a very experienced businessman, threw that new streaming service carrying it, given its a Showtime contract Wilder is on......Hearn just does not want the fight.

I think, behind all the PR cocky talk, he is probably not really ready to risk AJ’s undefeated record and three titles, just yet

But that said, given that Wilder rambled on and on like a 16 year old in that recent interview, he never mentioned that everything looked great, until Eddie came up with the new, unknown station Hearn pushing

But then again, maybe Finkel told Wilder cannot mention that part of the contract

I’ve been saying for a couple weeks now but I don’t think the flight is going to happen, and I still say that

From now on I only want blizzy to interview Wilder or maybe Charles Martin!
That's the only way I will listen.

Very plausible take on it, given that it’s still not signed

I’ve always doubted that wilder wanted it .....and now it also looks like Wilder ——may—— be ready, but Eddie is sounding like he does not really want it, with the revelation that he is apparently wanting to push Showtime aside and use this fight to launch a new unknown service none has heard of

Looks like this fight will continue to be a “any day now, we will hear the announcement” fight that never actually comes to fruition

Bring on Joshua Povetkin..... better test for AJ, anyway

I highly doubt that the US TV is a problem. Or Wilder and Finkel would be screaming it out loud, such as saying Hearn said this fight has to be on DAZN. Anyway contrary to reports, Showtime does not have a official contract with Wilder, they are on a conditional Handshake Agreement.

Their contract with Joshua also has expired so theoretically, Hearn is doing the right thing, he is putting up Showtime against DAZN and the highest bidder wins the US TV Rights which is more money for Joshua and Matchroom.

Wilder has not got a contract with Showtime. However Hearn is a disgusting scummy lier, he said publicly on Fighthype so many times, Showtime gets first dibs on Future Anthony Joshua Fights.

Lol you’re right, this is the modern at least and you know how Hearn likes to jump on anything new, thinking about Bob Arum a guy set in his ways is one who doesn’t do it.

Canelo v Golovkin set the precedent I’d say and you’re right as Fans are so gullible they lap this s*** up and cause on Twitter then you know it must be right yeah?

Probably same kinda folk who lap all that flat earth crap up lol

AJ is the A-side plus their back up plan is Povetkin. No one will give AJ and Hearn any crap if they announce the Povetkin fight.

Wilder's back up plan is Breazeale. He has no leverage, none.

Hearn probably sent him a contract that's a big **** sandwich and told him to eat it and Deontay is not happy about it.
