Tyson made something of his jealousy of Biggs ,( correctly) being picked ahead of him for the Olympics at superheavy ( a weight drained Tyson lost in the box offs at heavy).
However despite the nonsense Mike came out with after their 1987 title fight ( which Mike admitted in his book was just bull talk) there's no evidence of him carrying Biggs. In round 5 he clubs Tyrell hitting him on the break like he wants to knock him into next week. That's not a man carrying someone. With a tougher/ fairer ref , Mike might've been thrown outta that fight, the number of elbows, butts, hits on the break he threw. He never carried Biggs at all.

Yeah, but some respect to Haugen for saying after the fight "They must have been tough taxi drivers". Kind of like Bonavena's "I sorry I call you chicken".

Yeah, I'm 95% sure that's the one I'm thinking of, but when I scrolled through it I couldn't quickly find the really obvious part I remember, where Ali starts throwing punches like he's reaching to turn off a light switch or something.

You left out that "Peep...Peep..Peep" stuff Oscar did too in the Ali pre-fight. LOL.

Before their fight, Ali showed up at Chuvalo's camp with a mop bucket, a mop and cleaning supplies.

Chavez vs Rosario also fits the bill.

Whitaker’s KO of Hurtado was almost as scary as Mercer/Morrison.

I wonder what ever happened to the reporter Ali was talking to on the bus?

Greg Page was pretty despicable to Scot LeDoux .. not sure if there was a back story to it but LeDoux was at the end of his career and the mocking was pitiful ..

This is a weird pick, but Adrien Broner has a very cruel style of fighting. He throws a lot of punches that are just hard enough to not put his opponent's lights out, and then backs off enough for the opponent to stay in the fight instead of swarming for a tko. We're lucky he hasn't put anyone in a coma or worse.

Chavez has been mentioned a couple times but the one that stands out for me is the beating he gave Camacho. He had no intention of trying to finish him. Someone said Rosario but I didn't really see him prolonging that one. Rosario was too dangerous.

Some of the earliest mentions on here can be ascribed to carrying for sake of the film or garnering possible interest in a more lucrative return match, two practices very common in the early 1900's.

Tony Galento v Lou Nova - said to be one of the dirtiest beatings ever inflicted on another human being. I heard Galento used his thumbs like a stylus.
