    Can’t speak for Cuba but I know PR is still dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster and 100 + years of US colonialism.

    They are small countries, what are you gonna do. Besides, Cubans have to leave their kids and parents FOREVER to come box in the USA. That is not easy.

    Well Felix Verdejo was suppose to be the next Cotto as far as PR superstar, but long layoffs, problems outside the ring and being blasted out in his last fight by a Mexican Journeymen have halted that train for now.

    Cuba has taken some pretty big L's recently although I think Dorticos and Ortiz came away with some extra fandom

    Puerto Rico has a lot of great prospects! Don't know what the **** you are talking about! And for the size of the island its have the most champions in the history of the sport!

    Isn’t exactly easy for a Cuban to be known. From escaping Cuba to then actually getting the fights to get known

    But dw.. they’re holding the amateurs down quite fine.. not quite there
