Here comes a ton of replies with Carnera in them..... We would definitely find out how strong Fury’s core is, Joe Louis would be pounding those kidneys.
He'd give a prime Louis a bloody hard fight, if he took it serious. If he clowned about ,Fury finds himself in LA LA land. But if he stick s to a game plan using all his advantage s then Joe's gonna struggle. May even find himself far behind on the cards and needing a ko to win .But Louis could do that we know ,so Fury has to have his sensible head on .
You'd have to favour Louis on pedigree. That said, Fury's size and movement make a win a possibility. I really want to see more of him looking good before I start picking him over ATG's. One win over an old, mentally shot Wlad is all that seperates him from boxing anonimity.
Fury being way bigger, taller and longer, and plus having faster feet would make it a very bad style match up for Louis. Fury wide UD if he keeps his head cool
Billy Conn had a similar style to Fury, but Conn was much faster and a smaller, moving target is harder to hit
