Like Takam/Whyte, but no broken noses and a better brain will be on AJ this time. AJ by TKO. Povetkin would have had a chance a few years ago, but he's finished. When you're on the brink of defeat against David Price, then you know there's something wrong.

Povetkin will be in the fight and may cause problems early on, but nothing significant. AJ is so much bigger and stronger. He will bully Povetkin.

Anything short of Anthony Joshua literally knocking Povetkin out inside the first few seconds of the first round whilst putting Povetkin to sleep in concussive fashion, would expose Joshua as an INSANE feather fist and as a TOTAL fraud.

Simply beating Povetkin isn't good or sufficient enough. Since It has to be via KO. And a KO alone isn't good enough either, since it has to also be a concussive KO where Povetkin is put to sleep and even that isn't enough, since it has to be done in the first few seconds of the first round.

Considering what has been said multiple times commonly about Povetkin supposedly nearly losing to Price. If Joshua can't fulfill the standard that has been set, then he gets exposed as an insane feather fist and a fraud.

Joshua gets 0 credit for winning this fight. And receives only criticism if he fails to fulfill the expectation. And if he does fulfill the expectation, then he is only doing what he's supposed to do and therefore deserves no credit.

This is like a 30 year old adult vs his 5 year old son in a mismatch type of a match up. And it has to be treated as such!

A repeat of Povetkin-Price. With the same outcome.

At this stage of their respective careers, you have to favour AJ.

I'll be cheering for Povetkin though.

It's probably 60-40 in Joshua's favour I'd guess, although, with Povetkins recent run of form and his explosive combination punching, anything is possible. I just hope to God that AJ doesn't take the Wlad blueprint for beating Povetkin because that would suck balls

The longer it takes to make the fight, the better the odds for Joshua.

Given Povetkin's age, you have to favor Joshua, most likely on points. I do not think Joshua is in the class of Klitschko or Lewis. Joshua is clearly the best around today, however, I think he's an upset waiting to happen, as he quickly fouls or cheats when he's hurt. Once he faces a man in his prime who's not afraid of him, he can be undone.

Povetikin is a pressure fighter with good hand speed, a good chin and enough power to score an upset.

I'll make an official call once I see Joshua's weight. 245 or below is good for Joshua. 250 and above, he might gas if pressured or not throw enough punches.

AJ should be the favourite but I'd give Povetkin a solid 35-40% chance of pulling the upset. Joshua probably wins a decision or gets a late British TKO after a few big scares.

You think Wlad is the #1 HW of all time , but if he is so good , why did he throw a hug in the opening seconds of the fight against Povetkin instead of a punch?

AJ will beat Povetkin without having to foul and hold on like a coward like Wlad.

Price KTFO Joshua in sparring. It also looked much worse than it was when he lost his balance against Price.

    AJ crush.

or points win, more likely to be fair, AJ doesnt seem to take risks in the big fights, so he'll just turn up with more gass than a 38 year old man.
