Calzaghe vs Ward break down of strengths? Very even across board

Not at all the fighters I named all had solid resumes, along with defeats at the top level.....Rodriguez has none of the above apart from failing at top level.

Ward won a fight against an opponent who he shouldn't of needed to wrestle with to get the W, elite fighters only need to fight that Against other top tier fighters to get the W, not mediocre fighters like Rodriguez.

Froch then went in to fight a Polish scrub.

Froch beating Reid 8 years after JC did holds more power than Froch losing to Kessler 3 years after JC whooped him....

Once you realsie that joe spent his whole career "setting up big fights" that somehow never materialised until his final day as a SMW, then you'll realise whats what. He was using big names to sell himself whilst instead fighting nobodies, almost all that time.

 

Joe was very carefully handled, and as a dad I don't blame the father. I wouldn't have wanted to send my in against a prime RJJ, either.

Andre simply facing a prime, dangerous, killed a guy in the ring Kovalev was far more ambitious than anything Joe attempted. As were the guaranteed successive tough fights offered by the Super Six.

RJJ was a completely different animal to Kovalev, steroids and all.

Wards run at 168 is one of the most overrated resumes there is currently believed. Was it very good, yes no doubt but besides Kessler and Kovalev I seriously do not get the ATG worthy status that people claim.

As for resumes I believe JC would go undefeated against Wards opposition as would Ward against Calzaghes.
