160 was weaker than 168 during Hopkins reign, the fact that his 2 standout victories was over a blown up welterweight in Tito (although that is legit) and a guy who started at 130.....tell the Hopkins top wins over actual middleweight fighters.

As for ODLH he had already been given a gift over Sturm and what else did he do at 160?....honestly what?

Ward easily steamrolls Joes competition. At 168, Joe has a better than fair shot at each individual fight but I think the continual step up in class eventually leads to a loss. It would be hard to see him going undefeated against Ward's run at 175. I'd bet the farm against it.

Joe has, besides Ottke, the weakest undefeated resume of all time, IMO. At least when it comes to noteworthy fighters.

But, as he said himself in his prime "I'm not looking for tough fights."

 

Who at 168 from Wards resume beats Calzaghe?
