You are always talking/posting about him, so I assume you are in awe of the fact that he was a 2 weight world champion, most defences, undefeated, beat another GB ATG 168 in Eubank (who was younger than the Kessler who beat Froch),family man (parents still involved).....

I just don't get the hatred for one of the greatest British fighters since Wilde.

 

Look guys these two are almost a carbon copy of each other
1... Both only fought at home against sub parr opponents with their own homeboy officials to ensure victory
2... Both bent the rules Ward being the dirtiest fighter of this era. Calzaghe being unable to land a LEGAL SCORING PUNCH He SLAPPED like a girl
3... Both really lost their final fights. Ward robbed Kovalev TWICE!! Calzaghe really lost to Bernard Hopkins
4 ... Both retired amid controversy Ward STILL never legitimately beat Sergey Kovalev. Calzaghe took to the hills and apparently into a life of drugs alcohol & depravity

I'm not sure. I just think that the consecutive likes of the Super Six and actually going the hard rounds without the gift stoppages wears on Joe and he loses a bout. We'll never know, Joe never faced consecutive competition like that.

On a case by case basis, I can see Joe winning them all.

 

Unlike you I'll not sink to childishness. I do support Ike Ibeabuchi. He was in my opinion the natural successor to Lennox Lewis as Heavyweight Champ. Ike made one big mistake He called that lying hooker in Vegas. What transpired was a classic he said she said scenario. She wasn't touched or hurt neither were the police officers that were called. I know I'll believe the word of a guy I'd seen almost every day when he was in Dallas over that of a hooker who claimed " I only came to dance for him" ROFL
Ike was no angel that's for sure BUT neither was he the monster that they made him out to be. So many silly stories & lies about him were told . Like the guy the other day on here asked me " Was it true Ike was in a high speed car chase with the hooker shut in the trunk of his car" ??
