Povetkin looked slower with Price but AJ has been looking like a hot mess too.
60/40 favor AJ but would love to see Mad Russian drop AJ once:headbash:boxing1

I would not make Joshua some crazy ten to one, or even like a six and a half to one, favorite but I also won't be picking Povetkin to pull the victory. Hope I'm wrong. Povetkin is a beast, really should be viewed as the better HW than Wilder.

Povetkin almost got knocked out by David Price. Joshua is going to kill him.

David Price knocked out Joshua FACE FIRST to the canvas in sparring gloves. What’s your point?

A juiced prime Povetkin may have had a shot, but this 38 year old Povetkin doesn't. He is still a talented boxer with pedigree, although he's lost a step, and is still at a size deficit. He will have less of a chance here than he had against Wlad.

I am picking POV as well

he will be a much tougher challenge than Wilder would have been and I think we will see POV outbox, and possibly take out Joshua

Great fight. Povetkin is finally at a point, late in his career, where he is the best heavy out there.

Go Povetkin!!! This is your time !!

I was never that impressed by what I've seen from Povetkin. Granted, I've only seen him a couple or three times, but he didn't look all that slick to me. That said, even if we grant the advantage in athleticism to Alex, how does he avoid having Joshua lay that gigantic torso over his back repeatedly until poor Povetkin is exhausted and incapable. Wouldn't be the first time that happened.

Couldn't disagree more. I guess we'll have a gentleman's bet on this one. Joshua is going to KO Povetkin. He will keep him at bay with a stiff jab and when Povetkin is worn down, in about the 8th round, he will land some big right hands and it will be all over.

My point is that Povetkin almost lost to David Price and Joshua is several levels above Price.
