Or did Gamboa, Indongo etc fight a zombie? If he walks around at nearly 180lbs that means he's been recently fighting 5/6 divisions below his natural weight doesn't it? Obviously training is going to make you lose weight & tighten up but for a current WW who's fought as a LW for a long period of his career that is quite odd isn't it? It's not like he's the wrong side of 35 either is it.. He's prime! I mean take 35lbs off current 'walk around' Loma & he'd be a flyweight, maybe even a straw weight wouldn't he? TC is truly a 'p4p' marvel..
At 135/140 yes he was. Not only was he coming down from 180, he was fighting sub par poor opposition, however he was making the weight healthy.
You sure about that,Serge put up a vid of Crawford making weight and it didn’t look very healthy to me. I’m a fan of Crawford esp now he’s at Welterweight, draining himself to pick on midgets however I can’t like
Crawford doesn't do anything that other fighters don't do, he has just been better at it. Some fighters have natural physical advantages in power or speed so I don't see a physiological advantage in being able to cut weight and quickly put it back on as much different.
TBH even if he struggled he would never have gotten found out against the cap opponents he fought. 147 is I believe his natural weight and we will see if he's the real deal or not.
Crawford is not tall for a welterweight and he looks quite skinny tbf. Crawford has a wide torso and long limbs. Kind of an odd combination.
Just because a fighter walks around at an artificial, "off season" inflated weight does not mean they're naturally a 180 pound human being. If anyone think he's a functional LHW or even MW than I have an extra chromosome you might be in need of.
I have a really wide build and short limbs. Makes sense since i'm from the Baltic's. I carry very little muscle and body fat yet at 5´6 i weigh 150lbs. Some people really are just heavy, and others are quite light. Ffs, Robert Easter can make lightweight. I would have to work hard to make it.
No one remembers Mark Breland I see. Or Thomas Hearns. Diego Corrales. Or, you know, any recent fighters who had ludicrous physical and weight advantages over their opponents.
