Dave Allen is the perfect opponent. He’s just a punch bag and a very durable one. He doesn’t fight back too much and he’s currently whoring himself out to the highest bidder. If Frank is so confident in Dubois then write the cheque, it will be a pittance to what he will be worth in years to come...

I agree. From Dave Allens viewpoint its not the fight he needs right now but it is from Dubios viewpoint.

He is 20 years old no need for him to be fighting most on that list. I would like to see him up against Nathan Gorman as I think its a fun fight, where a loss would do neither any harm at this early stage in their careers.

I would fancy Gorman to win that fight though and fairly comfortably.

This is the thing. Both are so young and a loss isn’t the worst thing in the world. You can come back and rebuild.

when Dubois is on the attack he looks open to some serious counters. im not sold at all yet, it's early but he seems ropey to me as soon as he gets in there with a quick counter puncher

yeah dave allen would be the perfect next fight for dubois to get some rounds in

but from daves point of view thats the most stupid fight he could take, numerous rounds of getting his head pummelled before being eventually stopped could leave him with brain damage.

What went on with Dave Allen? That was a strange one, Eddie was all over him, got him the Thomas rematch, cracked heads and ended badly but I thought he'd come back and have another go at the commonwealth belt (maybe not now Joyce holds it).

But instead he pitches up France wearing a beret and blocking punches with his face. He did F all against Yoka, absolutely F all, I'm all for earning money if you can get it but that was completely embarrassing.

And as said before, I'm actually getting concerned for his health, he took so many shots against Yoka, this isn't the first time, Ortiz beat him up to the point he could crack wood for weeks...... that's a hell of a beating to stop you getting an erection for weeks.

Personally I could break a leg and still get busy in the right circumstances.

Anyway, before I get banned, Has Eddie finally cut him loose?

He was on a fight by fight basis and was meant to prove to Eddie that he was taking it seriously and training properly and get cut loose. He obviously never did and ended up in France.

Of course he can. But can he beat somebody like Takam or Romanov, Kuzmin or Afonin?

Depends on what Washington, Molina and Stiverne have left. Washington and Stiverne gave Wilder problems and Wilder would knock Dubois out in 2 rounds.

Good for his age? Mike Tyson won the title when he was 19 years old!

The Stiverne that troubled Wilder would do far better vs Dubois.

They protected Frank Bruno the same way leading up to each of his title shots, having said that Bonecrusher Smith at the same age he was when he beat Bruno would of destroyed Dubois a lot quicker! I`m not trolling just in case I get banned again!
