Povetkin has a great chance IMO. Style wise it’s horrific for AJ. For the first three rounds at least I have Povetkin as favourite.

I agree, I have AP dangerous a little bit longer than that, he seemed to catch a second wind against Price, I'd say Povetkin is dangerous up to half way, after that it's all AJ.

    It may be true
Here are the clear facts AJ although very rich now is not a money man He does not understand money
Hearn would advise him to take the most money over anything else
Some people would laugh at him for doing this but at the end of the day he does not understand money He is a fighter and its the same old story going back since bare knuckle fighting
    Barry maybe telling the truth

That would have been the guaranteed $50m in USA.
I doubt this would have made Hearn the most money so suspect he didn't advise him to take this.

So I hope you’re going to give AJ credit when he knocks AP TFO.

If it was prime pov Versus the aj we have seen lately I would agree that it’s a real close fight, but I’ve seen all of povetkin’s comeback fight since the drugs scandal and he just doesn’t look the same I mean it didn’t help that hammer and rudneko were in survival mode the whole fight, but I just think aj will use his size advantage and clinch constantly and pepper him with jabs and try catch him coming in range.

But povektin can take a lot of confidence into the fight purely for the fact aj isn’t good boxing off the back foot plus aj isn’t great from long range he’s better mid range so if povektin can keep switched on coming in and get on aj’s feet get him boxing on back foot he can make aj really uncomfortable plus aj just doesn’t have the defence of wlad the parker fight was like watching a poor impression of wlad.

Of course, just like I gave him credit for getting back up and finishing Wlad.

First things first,Barry Hearn has been wheeled out at 70 years old to go over to USA to smooth things over because Eddie has gone down like a lead balloon out there ...
What the Matchroom fanboys and also everyone else really need to do is watch what Hearn DOES not what he says....

As soon as Povetkin fought on Matchroom card and won he was next fight for AJ...

And what fight do we have coming up soon ?...Whyte v Parker ,do you see where i am going with this??

    THE BIG REMATCH....

Regarding what know about the negotiations the only apparent outcome so far is the continuous moving of the goalposts and constant contradictions by slippery Eddie.

In amongst all the hype and bull**** going backwards and forwards over this, it seems obvious Hearn doesn't want this fight.

Price got chucked in with povetkin for one reason and one reason only, certain people were praying price gets the win so they don't have to face Povetkin, it didn't quite work out.

Same siht trying to force Whyte on Wilder again hoping Whyte gets the win and derailing things.

They don't want either fight as they know he potentially gets ktfo and the gravy train is over.

Price was never going to beat Povetkin...he was put in there to show the Matchroom casuals who he is so they will then buy the later PPV...

The Whyte v Wilder thing was just the old distract and delay tactic...,.They are waiting and waiting for Wilder to get old or beat....

I tell you has got off scot free in all this ....Rob Mckracken ,id imagine he has had a huge part in swerving this fight

To be fair, i wouldn't lay any blame on RM for it not happening because that is his job, to look out for his fighters.

He may advise who he should face or who he shouldn't and if he feels like somebody is not ready then he should say so, he may already have done.

    That is his job.

He may feel that Aj could smash Wilder to pieces and if so urge him to take the fight, but it is also his job to say no not yet.

RM knows exactly what he is doing, and in my opinion he wont send his man in there unless he is 100% certain that they win this.
