Hearns and I share the same home town, so I would be rooting for him, but I'd be betting on Bob Foster by stoppage

When brutal Bob hit you at 175, you stayed hit.

Hearns is an ATG but not at light heavy. Foster is an ATG at 175. I’d give him a chance against anyone all-time in that division. I wouldn’t say he’s No. 1, but he’s in the discussion.

Foster's chin was only suspect when he fought heavys. Not a fighter who was at his best at welter- jr.Middle. I go with the majority on this one. Hearns by the time he reached LT.Heavy didn't have the legs to survive Foster. (And his legs were never great anyway) Hearns wouldn't have the height and reach advantages he normally had over most of the fighters he fought. I see Foster brutality knocking out Hearns within the 1st five rds of this hypothetical match.

Foster by KO. Maybe Hearns gives him an early scare though and that motivates Foster to finish him quickly.

Foster by KO. Hearns might make it fun for a bit, though.

I respect Tommy, but he doesn't make it out of the 1st or 2nd. The first time Bob lands, Tommy is done. Period. Tommy's only physical advantage is handspeed and that's not nearly enough.

welterweights or one welterweight? He fought 33 times at welt, or at least up to the Ray fight and was not knocked out. Never knocked out at 154,,,, I mean really 3 times in 67 fights. How many times was Foster knocked out?

If you mean 180 pounders by heavyweights.

don't get me wrong, I think Foster would win. I just say the speed of Tommylanding and seeing if Foster can take it. Punchers chance. … I would love to see Barkley vs. Foster.

    Andries staggered Hearns.
You would be asking Hearns to go against a taller boxer who hit hard and who had his own wicked jab.
not to mention lightheavyweight is not Hearns natural weight class to begin with.
