If Pac can't beat a old poor skilled in Lucas

I hate to say this but i hope Lucas knocks manny out. Manny should retire. He is not beating any of the top guys in the division so whats the point? If its to keep fighting because you love the sport then you can make fights with lesser fighters and do so in front of all his fans in his country. No need for him to fight meaningless fights.

 

Never was really impressed with Mathysse even in his prime. He always looked like CEJr reaching with his punches when he fought boxers with jab and some sort of movement.
If Old Pac can't beat a shot Mathysse fighting further would only ruin his legacy.

Pacman needs to retire PERIOD! I don't care about his fights any longer, his heart is not in boxing... I don't understand why he bothers.

 

I never understood why fans think an accomplished fighter who is clearly old in age, and years past his prime ruining his legacy for losing fights at that stage.

 

Pacman has been around longer than Lucas. He might look bad, that happens because they are about the same age. If he wins he wins. He probably should retire because he cannot do much more to help a pretty good legacy. A great legacy.

 

One of the rare posts by you that I agree with. Doesn't matter if Pac gets KO'd by Sam Eggington, Paulie Malignaggi, and Miguel Berchelt in his next 3 fights. His legacy's been cemented.

 

I have ZERO interest in that fight. Im sure many hardcore fans do but i dont think it sells much ppv with the casual audience.

 

I get it that Pac has nothing left to prove. I don't get all of the calls for retirement. It isn't like he is losing fights. He beat Horn, and never lost to Bradley. Beat Vargas, he is a top 3 WW in my eyes. I think he would be favored over most in the division, the man is still a top player. Especially if he uses movement and doesn't go to war, he could go a few more years and have some big time fights for titles.

This won't be popular, but I don't think Spence just blasts right through him like some on here suggest.

 

Spence kills him.
Crawford kills him.
Porter is 50/50 (only because Pac can't handle rough fighters these days).
Pac schools Danny, but could get blasted out.
Pac schools Thurman, but could get blasted out.

 

All possible. But based on what? The foul filled Horn fight? He is still and ATG, and I think he has shown that in a clean bout, he can still outpoint the top guys.
