I don't believe Canelo said that. I'm calling it rubbish. The Mexican mainstream media would have made some kind of deal about that comment and the hardcore JCC sr fans would have made an uproar. My guess is you misunderstood do to the language barrier or you're making it up.

I watch Spanish network TV and I'm sure our local Mexican members here do too, and I have never seen anyone state that Canelo compared himself to JCCsr. In fact Canelo doesn't like to be compared to anyone.
