I'm not against BJS vs Degale at all. Two former Olympic team mates from 2008 where Chunky struck gold and BJS lost in the 2nd round to the eventual champion.

Degale with a proper training camp may have one last hurrah in him as most fighters do.

It could be a purists fight or an absolute bore. I would certainly watch it.

It’s a strange fight, but one that interests me if it gets made because of the fighters involved despite the fact the styles could well serve up a stinker.

Looks like Catteral - Davies is chief support which is a very interesting fight.

If frank can give Yarde a good step up and maybe Dubious - Cornish which has been rumoured, it should be a nice card

    Davies - Catterall great fight.

Saunders - Degale utter shite. Pointless, for no belt it’s simply a way to get a PPV.

I know I will not be forking out any money to watch it and doubt if I will be interested in watch a free replay. It’s a nothing fight BJS has in theory a future and I suppose a win could put him in position to fight the winner of Groves v Smith ? I don’t see it as a good fight for Degale as he needs as big a cash out fight as possible to pump up his retirement fund.

Probably a 70% chance it will be a stinker but I would still watch it hoping for something unexpected.

To be fair to James Degale he’s fought on the road for quite a while now, deserves a fight at home and a massive pay day

Its not a money fight though. Saunders v Murray sold about 1000 tickets. Yes Degale is a bigger name than Murray but his not big in the UK either. Degale with a belt makes the fight a whole lot more sellable. Degale without a belt and I'm not sure what the attraction is for the fight.

Not forgetting the date. A week before AJ v Povetkin. I don't see how BT can run a PPV a week before AJ. People will not buy two ppv's so close together.

I think that's more likely. You can't run a PPV around the time AJ fights.

Groves v Smith could be September as well which would be another ppv in the month.

December is a problem if Khan v Brook does indeed happen.

Think the presses and slagging off would be worth watching more than the fight but in a funny way I actually think it could be a classic fight too cos DeGale has recently just been in wars so it might be a toe to toer you never know.

disagree, good in terms of competition level but it will stink out the place I fear. I dont think their styles will gel too well. this could end up similar to the Willie Munroe fight. With the same result also

Don’t know how much slagging off there will be there both really good friend’s but it’s not unheard of or even rare for 2 boxers to create fake beef to sell a fight.
