Fitzsimmons by KO again, this time it would be quicker.

    Baer by close UD

    Witherspoon by wide UD

A well trained, focused Witherspoon outboxes Smith every time. I'm convinced he kind of mailed in that rematch. Not saying he formally fixed the fight but getting ripped off by King and mistreated took their toll on his professionalism.

Im OK cheers Birm.Yep a Baer Braddock rematch im picking maxi to get his revenge, by points or even if he s riled for losing stopping him late. Depending on Spoons frame of mind for a third match (and Smith s ) I'll say Tim by points .But a bit of a rough match for him this time unlike their first fight.

I agree with that,, I've always thought immediate rematches have a stench about them

Bradock did beat baer pretty well so your fantasies of baer winning a rematch are only fantasies

The obvious issue on the Baer rematch, is whether his right hand would be ready.

He was advised to postpone the Louis fight, but he decided to risk it, for a chance to get back at the title.

I don't know about the first two, no way Tim loses to Smith if he's right, just no way, outboxes him, and possibly ko's him.

His right could be ready all he wanted.. Jimmy would take it.. Baer did not have the accuracy of louis. Braddock decisions baer everytime

Considering Baer did nothing in the fight and its almost unanimously agreed that he beat himself more than the mediocre (at best) Braddock beat him I think Baer is the only one improving on his performance and he could dramatically improve. Braddock could never be better than his mediocre best that night. Baer wins a rematch.

    Same amount of rounds?

Corbett was in the lead and floored Fitz, Fitz came on later. I'd pick Corbett to win the re-match.

    Is Baer and Witherspoon motivated?

When I watch Braddock vs Baer, Baer tanks it.

Witherspoon vs Smith seems a bit fishy to me.
