post fight press conference. He was not bleeding at the time of the stoppage. I only saw one abrasion underneath his eye which was not bleeding when the ref waved it off. What happened between the time of the stoppage and the post fight presser to cause so much bleeding and why didn’t he clean off his face before the presser ? He put on a nice well tailored suit for the presser but neglected to wipe the blood from all over his face? Did Dana White have Stipe wearing some kind of zombie makeup to make the beating seem worse than it actually was? Wouldn’t surprise me

Yeah, just watched the fight and for me Cormier definitely eye poked on purpose. How can you throw a right hand with your fingers extended ?? Its mentally impossible to not think of clenching your fist when throwing, especially a pro unless your intent is to catch their eyes..Cormier has gone down badly in my eyes. I always thought he was a straight down the line guy

The blatant flick of the fingers from that right handed eye poke was some dirty ****. If the ref looked at the replay, he should have deducted at least one point for that, because there was no excusing it. It looked very blatant.
It was fairly dirty, I wouldn't have minded if the ref took two points for that blatant finger flick to the eyes. He still knocked that ass out though.
I’m not a fan of either. My opinion is the fight should be a no contest but the miocic is partly to blame for not getting dirty back immediately. You cannot just sit back and allow somebody to continue to foul the **** out of you and hope the ref does something about it. You bring attention to it by immediately fouling back.
Abrasions from fingernails caused damage that look like dried blood but were actually scratches on the surface that didn't penetrate to the lower tissues.
Eye pokes should be a DQ if confirmed on camera replay instantly. Terrible dirty stunt to pull..I might go and watch Cormier crying in the ring again now with a smile
