Julian Williams holds the #1 spot that to charlos wbc and Hurd's ibf . Williams will be fighting takeshi for the ibf eliminator. If Julian Williams becomes Hurd's full ibf mandatory. Then the wbc will remove Williams from his number one ranking for jermell charlo and #2 contender Erislandy Lara will become #1contender to Jermell Charlos wbc belt. Hopefully we see lara vs Jermell charlo
Lara looks finished at the very top. He still has more than enough left to beat scrubs like JRock, but against someone like Charlo, who is young and has talent I don't think his speed and stamina will hold up. Jermell most likely outpoints Lara at this point.
I think Lara vs Ell Charlo would be a decent scrap. I honestly wasn't too impressed with Ell against Trout. I think he's lucky Trout is getting sort of long kin the tooth. All Charlo is much better then Ell Charlo IMO.

Based on what??? I remember people hyping JRock to the moon for the Charlo fight even though JRock looked like trash against Centeno. I knew Charlo was going to work him over in under 7 rounds. JRock was barely competitive and kept leaving his chin wide open and was easily timed with a counter right uppercut that would've never landed if he were any good. This content is protected He also got a gift against Ishe Smith. That fight most likely should've been a draw, but it shows Jrock's level. Ishe was 39 and was able to rock Jrock several times. JRock has a very weak chin and was very lucky to be awarded the win. When Jrock steps up again against either Hurd or Jermell he gets destroyed again. I think even Brook, who is damaged goods would even stop JRock, since they are levels apart.
Son of Charlo (JRock) definitely loses to Lara by UD. That said, JRock was easily “Bossing” Hugo Centeno prior to the stoppage. Centeno was looking for a way out and he found it.
Some serious Williams hate going on here. lol. I disagree. I thought he won the Smith fight, I also though he took flush shots well from that Jamaican guy he beat. Williams would most definitely work the one dimensional Lara. Lara is one of the most over rated guys out there.
