100% agree. Seems like Cormier has a dirty dirty streak in him. Ward is another good example I agree and Bernard cry baby Hopkins

I'd exaggerate if eye poked, you have too, make a meal of it. If it happens more than once walk out the cage...You could blind someone with that carry on

It was definitely dirty. Not sure why nobody is holding Cormier accountable for it. Still, it had no bearing on the outcome of the fight. Stipe said he was good to continue. He pulled out with his left hand out of position and got his chin imploded. Followed by his head being dribbled off the canvas. I was left highly disappointed. Stipe clearly had the tools to do well against Cormier. Why he didn't use his size, and keep his distance using his boxing is beyond me. Cormier walked forward with horrible head movement. He should have been KO'd for that.

Nah, best way for me and the way chicanito taught me is foul back immediately. You must even the playing field.

Same reason nobody said much about Andre wards low blows vs kov. Same reason nobody said shot about all horns fouls vs pac. The ufc wanted cormier. That’s what we get.

I think cormier realized he looked like such a fool crying after the second Jon Jones fight that right then and there he decided he would go to any length not to have to be put in the position to cry, like a little baby in the night in his crib.
I can’t see how anybody can like that guy. Act like a good guy then fight dirty like that and lie about it after. Guy is a real piece of work.

All right, I just rewatched the fight, and some of you seem to have a major case of sore butt syndrome. Stipe took his loss with class, he seems like a classy guy. If there was an eye poke before the one the ref called, give me the time stamp of the round so we can check for it. I didn't see any outside of what the ref gave Stipe time off for. The ref was warning Cormier because he was walking forward like a sleep walker with his arms outstretched looking to grab Miocic's arms to clinch. His fingers were outstretched. I saw no eye poke though, prior to the one that Stipe got time to recover from. Stipe never reacted up to that point, like he got poked in the eye, or had his eyes raked either. Some of you have vivid imaginations. What was happening, that I didn't notice during my first viewing, was that Cormier had bounced quite a few solid shots off of Stipe's face. So all this sore loser crying, trying to take credit away from Cormier by lying about multiple eye pokes and ignoring clean punches that Stipe was eating needs to stop. Stipe seems to have the type of facial tissue that damages when hit. He definitely got hit clean a few times, prior to getting KO'd. That's where 99% of the damage to his face came from. Yes the eye poke looked extremely dirty, I'm not excusing it, the ref should have taken a point after seeing the replay, because it looked purposeful. There were no other ones that I saw though. Give Cormier credit for re-arranging Stipe's face, instead of acting like sore losers. Some of the same people who gloated and made racial jokes when Ngannou got schooled now have sore butts, and wrongly try to turn clean punches into Rick Flair type eye attacks.

Yes, Stipe's face was representative of what somebodies mug looks like when they've been punched in it 10-15 times with four oz gloves on.

The establishment wanted Cormier to win, Stipe is too boring according to them , even though he knocks out his opponents.

You need protection from the ref, 2 strikes and its a dq. Sometimes you don't get the chance to retaliate. Who's Chicanito ??

Miocic's face has no marks shaped like a fingernail either. He does have bruising, and cuts consistent with getting punched in the face. People with fragile facial tissue, cut fairly easy when punched. The distance traveled by some to not give Cormier credit is somewhat amusing.
