Just goes to show they need uniform regulations across all state and foreign commissions, and across all major sanctioning bodies. Few rules that can fix some things...

Follow the strictest rules from which ever state/ABC has them.

Make all ABC's follow the IBF's rule on fight night weigh in limits.

And as one poster suggested, 12 months continuous enrollment in VADA if they want a title shot.

Give up trying to use USADA FFS....what a crap org that turned out to be....

Well, for most of the important rules they are all standard. It kind of functions the same as how each American state has different laws. The problem is the corruption. We need some type of benevolent overseer to clean everything up lol.

Well what do you know, we got a legitimate stance from you. You made your points in a civilized manner.

I never said Golovkin manipulated the gloves, only that he may have.
Somebody stated earlier that fighter do it all the time, that some punch at walls to compress the knuckle area or move the padding out of sorts from that area.
I'd have to guess that punching at a concrete wall with your fighting gloves on is probably not on the up and up if the commission was present, so something like that is unlikely to happen in a big ppv fight but more likely to happen in a lesser fight with less commission personell present. Maybe even the Rosado fight, who knows.

I'm certainly not taking everything Rosado said as the Gospel, but I do think he's taken shots from bigger and harder punchers in and out of the GYM and has enough fights to know what a punch feels like.

Rosado's take is something to throw out there to those who may think Golovkin is without reproach and is absolutely clean as a whistle.

Who are you arguing with that says it was 100% accidental? I have not seen a single person make that claim. What I have seen are people giving Canelo the benefit of the doubt based on the Values found in the test, the statement made by the SMTL lab director, and the fact that he took a HFT. Lance, I swear you argue with people for the sake or arguing.

You're hear claiming you argue with people because you don't agree that its 100% accidental... WTF are you actually arguing? That there is a possibility it was malicious? Is that your point?

If the state allows it, its not fishy at all. So again, WTF are you arguing? You love to argue for the sake of arguing Lance. lol

LOL, my goodness Lance, you waste your life arguing on here.

Abel Sanchez made a false/incorrect claim that Canelo's wraps were illegal. Not a peep from you to all the GGGoons.
Rosado and Monroe say they "believe" that GGG's gloves were modified, and you lose your shits.

    1. This is allowed and you can do it whenever. There is nothing wrong with this. It is very common. You actually see this all of the time. Usually they don't punch as much as they press but it does the same thing.
    2. Boxers talk about how Golovkin has unique power all of the time and this can be observed in his matches.
    3. You're doing the same thing shadow was doing by talking about some irrelevant ****, but even still nothing Golovkin has done indicates that he has ever done anything shady. There is no evidence for this.

Fighters do this instinctively when they feel that the wraps are not secure and the hand is not snug inside the glove. When there's too much space inside the glove, they feel that the glove is moving around too much and isn't in a secure position, so they hit the glove into the wall to push the glove further on to the hand. This is related to stacking because the more you stack the hand wraps with additional gauze, the less space there is inside the glove and the less of a need to punch your glove into the wall when the hand feels loose inside the glove.

There are fighters that may do this to psyche themselves up for the fight, but it's something that's done when a fighter's hand is not comfortable fitting snug inside the glove.

Think it about . . . logically. Why would a fighter feel the need to punch the glove into a wall? What is the purpose of that? It's an instinctual attempt to achieve a more secure positioning of the hand wrap inside the glove.

It was always here Divac... Like I said, this isn't the first or only thread on this. Not going to post my opinion EVERY time because a poster who come in once a blue moon needs it. However, under the circumstances, I guess it's OK.

I have no ill will towards you. I believe we've always been cordial with one another. I suppose if lil lapdog Isal follows you around, that's not your fault. Nor should I take any inheritance out on you.

Your position on this, surely is understood. Boxing's been synonymous w/ corruption for 100 years. But i'm not one to jump on PED accusation or illegal wraps w/o at least a shed of proof, or evidence that defies any form of logic (Mayweather's TUE coming a month later, excessive saline...).

    Glad this has been said.

So you straight up just assumed that this is why people do this? What the **** is wrong with you? I just told you what the purpose is.

You said "usually they don't punch as much as they press". I explained what the purpose of pressing / punching the glove into the wall after it's on is. I must have missed where you explained what the purpose of it was. How did you explain it's purpose?

I told him the purpose earlier I said that it packs the padding of the glove in. It has nothing at all to do with handwraps. Ever.

You just made something up. You have tried being a filibuster, attacking Golovkin's character, attacking Sanchez's intelligence, misinforming everyone about handwraps, ignoring information presented to you, misinterpreting information presented, false equivalences, derailing the topic, and now you're just lying. I don't even think you're wrong anymore because that would imply that you believe what you're saying. Why are you caping for Canelo so hard by the way?

Take a deep breath. You're getting all bent up out of shape and there's no reason for it. I'm relating this to stacking because that's what's we're talking about. I'm explaining what happens inside of the glove when you press the glove into a wall. Yes, it packs the padding of the glove in . . . against the hand wraps / knuckles. Creating a tighter fit inside the glove. (surely you wouldn't disagree with that, otherwise you are just being unnecessarily argumentative)

You're trying really hard to separate the hand wraps from the padding of the glove, which is silly. The two are interconnected and the goal is to achieve a snug fit between the two, so that the glove feels like an extention of the arm, so the glove isn't loose on the hand. By pressing the glove against the wall, you are pushing the hand wrap further into the padding of the glove. It's typically done when a fighter has his gloves on but feels like there isn't a tight enough fit between the hand wraps and the padding in the glove, he may feel the glove move around a little bit, he may feel the glove be slightly loose on the hand because there's too much space.

That's where additional gauze on the hand wrap can be helpful, in creating a snug fit from when the glove is put on. More gauze on the handwraps creates less space inside the glove, less of a loose sensation when the glove is put on, creating less of a need to punch or press the glove into the wall.
