I've never been a fan of Whyte but somehow I don't see Parker winning. Whyte takes a maybe controversial decision or it could be a draw. But if Parker loses by KO feel free to bump your "Parker should retire" thread.
How could it be right? To favour Dillian Whyte, The subject of forum derision When parkers so quick, With movement so slick, That he's sure to get the decision, Could it be that it's looking Like a case of home cooking, May spell the young kiwis doom, We won't know till they meet, If there's a plan to cheat, Hatched by the Hearns of Matchroom,
Whyte has a far Superior training team now lead by Mark Tibbs . To many people are saying Browne lost to Whyte rather than saying Whyte beat Brown He is sharper and more powerful now with a more developed boxing brain
This fight is not a cherry pick, Whyte is not a bum and Parker is not Muhammed Ali. Id pick Parker over Whyte but i can understand if others offer a different opinion.
Because I struggle to see Parker being given a points win unless it's a clear beat-down and Hearn managed to get Parker to agree to a fight date which significantly shortened his camp. I don't think Parker is the most dedicated when not training for a fight and suspect he will not be in the same shape he was vs AJ. He's the better boxer but the odds look stacked against him to me...
Whyte is more fundamentally sound than Parker. Offensively and defensively and at all ranges. Besides impulse blitz rushes and a counter jab, Parker's offense and defense leave a lot to be desired. Expect a AJ / Whyte 2 rematch before Wilder too. Eddie probably has the Charles Martin rematch booked for AJ after that
Parker is the more fundamentally sound fighter and only neutral territory I would pick him but I think it will be a contraversial split decision.
