The Kovalev one is a bit harsh he did coptiulate against Ward but Ward is one of the resilient and crafty boxers in the last years. I wanna see Kovalev can show some mental fortitude against the other top dudes but I completely right him off.

Very good list, I’m not sure about Loma yet, he showed against Linares just yet because he does seem to look to the ref the moment anything resembling a body shot hits him. I think it’s mainly coz he dominates opponents but I haven’t seen enough to tell me yet.

    Honourable mentions:
    Salido
    Hurd
    Jack
    Breazeale
    Rungvisai

All these guys are fighters who hit the canvas or usually give away the early rounds but seem to find away to stay in there and rally late to either win or make it close.

I might be wrong but didn't Ali want to quit against Frazier in their 3rd fight? Then Frazier retired on his stool so Ali didn't have to?

PBF was very mentally tough you can't separate your hate for the man to see him for what he was in the ring. When PBF was hurt the Corely fight for example he turned it up on him in the same round he fought back coming forward and won the round. When he was hurt by Mosley he didn't wilt he fought back backing Mosley up. He handled adversity fine made his adjustments and went on to retire undefeated. Only a fool who knows nothing about boxing or a hater would suggests that PBF wasn't mentally tough in the ring. It was actually one of his best assets.
