Floyd probably would have always beaten Manny, but his ducking ass made sure we'll never know the answer to the question by avoding the matchup until Pac got KO'd and had faded.

Yeah, well Oscar De La Hoya said that while wearing his promoters hat. He's prmoting Manny Pacquiao's next fight.

 

I wouldn't take everything Oscar the promoter says to heart. GBP is promoting Pacquiao's fight this weekend and likely wants to keep the relationship going.

With that said, I agree with you that Mayweather beats Pacquiao every time. Pacquiao can't deal with top fighters with very good right hands. Marquez, Morales, and Mayweather all had great right hands, and all clearly beat Pacquiao.

When was Pac prime? Cause the younger Pacquiao had no jab and only a straight right hand. His inability to adjust was made evident against Marquez in their first fight. The older Pacquiao, the one that Mayweather beat, had more weapons.

So, what version of Pacquiao are you talking about? What year? And remember, the Mayweather Pacquiao did fight was older, slower but crafty enough to shut Pac down.

IMO, there's no version of Pacquiao capable of overcoming Mayweather's superior boxing ability.

 

A big reason why JMM gave Pac fits was because of his technical educated footwork at times he was able to control, Pac with it PBF's educated footwork is even better than JMM's and when you add that PBF is an even better counter puncher who's faster has better reflexes and is longer with better defense and you see that PBF is JMM x 3 as far as a stylistic nightmare for Pac. You couldn't be more wrong, it has plenty to do with it.

A bigger reason was JMM had no qualms going toe to toe w/ Manny. He could take his punches and use his countering to throw back and keep pace. Floyd did his own thing versus Pac.
