It probably makes you think that Fwank has the domestic edge on shows but Hearn wipes the floor with world level shows. Who’s third in the UK now?

A lot of hatred for Eddie on here as normal. Personally excluding the Brook and Khan event (which were not ppv) I think on paper the Matchroom are good matchups. It's not Eddie's fault if the fights don't live up to expectation.
If your comparing Eddie to Warren then Matchroom are on completely a different level.

    In what way?

Yeah Joshua sells out Wembley but he'd sell out Wembley with anyone.

The BT cards have been more solid on the whole this year. Even ITV had good events due to the WBSS. Matchroom have been the epitome of 'meh' imo.

Eddie has been too busy working on his billion dollar US deal, that's probably why Matchrom have put out some serious dross in 2018.

Okolie v Chamberlain was two young unbeaten fighters who everyone said before the fight was 50/50.
Joshua v Parker was a World Unification fight.
Bellew v Haye was a rematch where the original fight did huge numbers and whatever anyone says about it, the original fight had everyone talking.
    Ritson/Kelly was a decent card.
Whyte v Browne was also decent.

Hearn's job is to big up every fight he is involved with. He is a promoter and the best in the world at doing it, so it's not his fault if the fights are rubbish. What does everyone expect him to do to make them guarantee good fights!!!

Include 2013 and 2014 to that, that's if you want consistency...
Froch-Groves single Handedly made it a good year for him

And they were all utter dross. And what *****s me off is that he does not even acknowledge it. Just moves on to the next sales pitch. In what way was Whyte-Browne decent ? Hearn says Ortiz didn't pass his blood test for the Wilder test

WTF did Lucas Browne pass, for him to be in that shape and authorised to fight ? The fact is all the cards and PPV have been *****. He had the opportunity to make Joshua-Wilder to make it a memorable year, but decided to con us for the 40 Year Old Povetkin. He's giving you great events not great fights

He does acknowledge the bad ones. He has always stated that the Okolie Chamberlain didn't live up to expectation.
The Whyte Brown fight was one sided however most people were backing Browne before the fight so that was meant to be competitive.
And the AJ Wilder negotiation isn't completely Eddie's fault. Wilder refused to meet face to face and delayed everything that has been put in front of him.
Frank's shows have been moderate when he has not cancelled them. Most of his shows can't even sell out the copperbox so that should tell you who has the better shows.

In recent months frank has put on the following -

    Fury comeback = 15k att
    Warrington - Selby = 20k att
    Frampton - Donaire/Garcia = sold out

Frampton at Windsor Park is on course to sell out.

The only recent flop was the 02 disaster.

Would not be surprised if Eh Day sold more tickets for Tony Dosh v Pudding Parker than Fwank sold for all his combined cards this year.

Was a pony fight but Eh Day reels in the mugs

Most people were backing Whyte not Browne.
