Egis Klimas already said no to 140

Pac can make 140 easily but anything else he will be drained

Hope we can at least get Pac vs Khan

Asking a an older fighter to move two weight classes to fight you is fairly cowardly.

This. PAC is going to be 40 this year and completely shot. Loma should fight him at 147 and claim his belt or otherwise stay where he is. PAC shouldn't have to cut any weight. If Loma needs a handicap to beat an old man that says a lot about him.

Pac murders Loma at 147. 140 is fair.

No matter what team Pac said, 140 will already be quite a challenge for any 40 year old boxer who's settled in a weight.
So unless Loma can do 140, which is the only fair weight they can fight at, then this will never happen.

Loma losing to pac would ruin his pro career. He's just barely conquered the salido loss and you want to add a tko loss ?

It's been almost a decade since Pac made 140.

I don't buy that he can make it without there being a real drop off in his performance, regardless of what he and his team say. Old fighters just don't move down in weight successfully.

Every year that passed just made it tougher and tougher to drain. He's too old now to drain maybe even 140

Dude, it's very well documented that Pacquiao eats a ton of food during training camp. He was 145 a week out before he headed to Malaysia. All he really has to do is reduce his carb intake a little and he'll be at 140 within 2-3 weeks of camp.

I'm a massive Pac fan, but every time an old fighter makes that drop, it just flat out doesn't work out for them. Fighters were meant to move up over time, not down. I don't doubt that Pac could make the weight, but it's not just water and fat that goes when you cut down. Muscle gets lost, too. Muscle he's used to having.

At one time, Pac could've made that drop down easily and with no ill effects. Now isn't that time. Given that his legs aren't what they were, it's a disaster in the making for him.

Wasnt BS at all. Pac would usually only rehydrate to the high 140s. Which is a plausible fight night weight at 135. Hell Pac could have made 130 for those years as well. If he could get his fight night weight down to about 143 which he easily could have.
