Were you on the crack pipe back then? JMM was offered a big money rematch after the draw but decided to go all the way to Indonesia to get his ass kicked by Chris John for $30,000. He also knocked back 100 mil for a fifth fight.

PBF , the NSAC, USADA, & Vegas boxing officials CONSPIRED to ROB Pacquaio. PBF NEVER beat him fairly he couldn't & best of all Floyd KNOWS it himself

JLC who was knocked out by bums ran Floyd to the brink. And Pacquiao is a far better fighter than JLC.

Actually the fight is more fair at 130 than 147 because FMJ has such a massive size advantage at 147. Take the FMJ from the Genaro Hernandez fight and have him fight Pac from the Morales or 2nd Marquez fight. I dont FMJ would have enough to keep Pac off of him.

It's much more impressive going life and death with ATGs than being dragged into a life and death fight with JLC.

Again, Mayweather is THREE YEARS OLDER, and the clock didn't stop for him while he kept waiting for a guy who was afraid of needles.

They have 5 common opponents and Mayweather fought 3 first and one in the middle. Pacquaio fought only Cotto first and last. Pacquaio also fought DLH and Cotto at artificial weight classes.

Floyd has a good resume, but not as good as Manny by far. Even the welterweight resume or the fights near it are not matching Manny, and Manny has the earlier fights in another era between hall of fame fighter. 2 times Morales, 4 times Marquez, 2 times Barrera fought Cotto way before Floyd did,, and a Cotto who was in my mind much better. Stopped Oscar. He fought everyone in an incredible career.. It is about that one fight between them, head to head Floyd had the style to beat him, but it was a good win and never bought the shoulder excuse. Do we rate Barkley over Hearns because he beat him twice?

Do you rate Tarver over Roy Jones? Not all fighters age the same.

I didn't realize this is still a thing. There is no version of PAC that will beat PBF. PBF is a master at controlling range, distance and pace. None of which Manny has ever been good at. Plus PBF pretty much holds all the physical advantages. He is bigger, has a longer reach and he is the superior counterpuncher. PBF also holds the edge in the mental game as well. While Manny is an all-time great, he really only has one game plan and never makes in fight adjustments for the most part. If they fought back then the fight pretty much plays out the way it did in 2015. It may be worse for Manny and he might get stopped. Manny back then was even more reckless and he possibly get stopped by a clean crisp counter he never sees coming. Plus Floyd was a bit more aggressive in his prime. I just can't see Manny pulling it out. Floyd is all wrong for him.

Cant see him stopping Manny. Marquez and Morales couldn't stop a prime Manny. And they punch harder than FMJ.

this is first post in a long time on this subject, that i think comes close to seeing the whole picture, what it all actually means.
your post also reflects the contrast in their individual self belief. the difference in situations even when fighting the same men, one was always riskier than the other.
