Marciano VS the 2 Lennox Lewis conquerors

Marciano took a count against Moore there was nothing flash about it. Im saying the punches that stopped Lewis were harder than the punch that Moore landed to drop Marciano and that I believe Moore's punch would not have dropped Lewis. Lewis faced a large assortment of big hitters, Rocky did not.

Archie Moore was a more dangerous puncher than Rahman.

Lewis fought a lot of big limited punchers, and a few good ones.

The two men who knocked him out with a single punch, were both decent , but unexceptional punchers!

 

So who apart from Lewis, did this monster stop?

Your tactic or argument of who did stop "better names " is archaic. Archie moore was not even a hw so simply the fact of comparing him with rahman at punchers h2h at hw is simply laughable .

 

You can barely count to 2 before Marciano is up on his feet against Moore. What’s this BS about their being a count?

I find it quite amusing how often you critisise Marciano getting floored by Archie Moore’s Sunday punch for a 1-2 count before he was up and swinging back seconds later. Moore is the all time knockout king, ranked number 4 in rings top 100 greatest punchers of all time, and carried his power up to heavyweight with 19 knockouts against the 23 men he fought who weighed 200lb or more.

You certainly don’t apply that same criticisms to other 185lb fighters in the 20s who were knocked out cold or buzzed by much lighter punchers than Moore.

For the record,

I pick Rahman and McCall to beat Marciano but the rock had an iron chin. Goldman said he never saw Marciano take a step backwards in the ring from a punch. I think at 185lb, he’d be at too much of a size disadvantage against McCall and Rahman.

Rahman would overpower marciano like i would with a 15 years old kid.marciano was.185 pounds and do you know what? He is not superman. He was a small,slow,cement foot brawler he would not have stylistical advantage neither... Trading against a guy who was much bigger,much stronger,hits harder and was 55 pounds heavier is not a good plan

No.. I think that rahman would handle him that easy physically. Hassim was a powerlifter he moved the 245 pounds of lewis like a rag doll in the interview.the 185 pounds of marciano would be like handling a kid
