Well the Dublin show went ahead and by account was a good nights boxing well done to all involved in setting it up, apparently very closed to being pulled on a few occasions in the last week so well done to the promoters on their persistence, and i hope they at least broke even,
Eric Donovan aside not sure any of the boxers will go on to achieve big titles (ie european level) but if they box each other it will keep making for exciting nights,

Katie Taylor next opponent named for October in the states....
Extremely disrespectful to her opponent next week
Eddie should at least wait until Katie hammers her and announce it in the ring.
Add to that having Taylor at a press conference to announce it.
I know im old fashioned but focus on one fight at a time.

Certainly is a great fight. There’s life in Nonito yet as he showed against Carl...and the last thing you lose is your punch.
Fair play to Burnett and his team for staying in w. B .s. S. ...

Yeah the cruiserweight series has been the best pro boxing iv watched in a long time.It seems the way for serious top fighters to go.
    The two semi-finals were class.
4 top fighters all there to win and test themselves. the cream had risen though and tonights fight will be a thriller id say.

Belfast is becoming the fight capital of Europe for sure. Amazing how much fighting talent comes from a small population.

Burnett vs Donaire is gonna be another big belfast night, Steven Donnelly and Sean Mccomb are turning pro, it's going from strength to strength,

Brisbane based Kildare boxer Dennis Hogan who is WBO no 2 expects to hopefully face 154 lb Champ Jamie Munguia next. Hogan is training partner of Jeff Horn and trained by Horn's trainer Glen Rushton. Hogan has the support of the Irish and the whole community in Brisbane.
Hogan said '' I 've been in New York for fights , Miami for training camps, but its always' great to get back in Brisbane. Its my home now. My heart lies in Ireland , but this is where i live , i love it . "

Sb can give me some input at COLIN O'BRIEN who is fighting Anthony Fowler next Saturday?
    Is he any good?

I read he trained with Spike O'Sullivan for the fight vs Fowler.

Fowler looks like a decent prospect but he wasn't tested yet and O'Brien did well vs Byrne in a 10rounder (Kelly also won on points vs Byrne while Fowler took him out in round 4/6.)

Craig O'Brien is a very stylish boxer a great ring IQ and lovley footwork .
He dosent have great power but it definatley a potential banana skin for Fowler. This fight is going to be a lot closer than people think.

DDP Sports Management has a cosy relationship with Jamie Munguia promoter Golden Boy. They have just recently signed a agreement to show GB promotion cards on Epicentre TV who is DDP broadcasting partner .
Hogan is very keen for the Munuiga fight. Hogan has said " Congrats to champ on u title defense over a really tough fighter in Liam Beefy Smith. In saying that i have the skills to beat u. I want to fight u next either in the States or here in Aust, your call. As of now i'm number one and i ain't going anywhere. " DDP is Hogan promoter.
