Waiting for your proof I said Choynski was the hardest puncher and also proof of $30,000 purse offers that Johnson refused to fight McVey,Jeannette and Langford.
Can we expect them any time this year?lol
Do you know what running a bluff and having it called is? Well its just happened to you!lol.

I posted you parroting that he was multiple times! You have mental issues. Jeffries honored his signed contract and fought the best for the most part as champion. Johnson RAN from signed contract to meet Langford, and never fought the best as champion. FACTS.

Now can you quote Ward for me on Johnson vs Klondike or would that be too much to ask :)

No ,this is what you posted.
"And heck yes, you mention Choynski was the hardest hitter many times."

You specifically said I stated that.Ive now challenged you twice to produce ONE POST of mine where I say that.
You won't because I never said it, all we are getting from you now is a lot of obfuscation.
You are a habitual liar and have been caught out yet again lying.
Jeffries reneged on his gambling debts and Rickard had to pay them off so the Johnson fight could be held in Reno.
Johnson and Langford have no part of this discussion.Neither do Johnson's opponents.
I gave a poster some information that he requested that information is contained in Wards book ,it isn't Ward's words I am quoting, it is the editorial of the Police Gazette ,can you actually grasp that you imbecile!

    Epic Fail!

    Great post

Corbett impresses on film. He boxed like Tunney , very very smooth on his feet

Mcvey looks like crap on film compared to Corbett but I won’t judge too harshly

    Jeanette looks mediocre on film

Corbett I think boxes both of their ears off. Corbett was a much higher level skill and athlete. Jeanette and Mcvey look too stiff for a fluid boxer like Corbett

Who cares what Corbett wore, watch the films. The man was way ahead of his time

I agree that critisizing corbett for beating a “green” Choynski but not criticizing Johnson for beating an 18 year old McVea is a double standard. Mcvey is full of them when it comes to jack Johnson and jack Dempsey’s opposition

    Corbett's record 11 W. 4L. 2D. 1NC.lol Birds of a feather.lol
McVey was 19 with 11 confirmed bouts including wins over Denver Ed Martin and Fred Russell ,Pollack believes he had more.Choynski was 20 with 3 fights on his sheet against no bodies.Spot the difference? lol I didnt criticize Corbett for beating Choynski, I put the fight in its proper perspective because a complete "754378" was claiming it as a significant victory.
"Corbett was a much higher level skill and athlete"
Yet he couldn't beat crude, face first 5'8" TomSharkey in two tries?
This higher level skilled athlete has which signature wins on his record?
A 33 years old ,[1 month off of 34,] 3 and half years retired alcoholic Sullivan. And it took him 26 rds.
A bareknuckle fighter Kilrain in a 6 rounder.
A bareknuckler 165lbs Mitchell who hadn't fought for nearly 2 years, Corbett had 23lbs on him.
The weakest, shallowest resume of any undisputed heavyweight champion and that includes Leon Spinks!
    Keep sniping .

He looks just as unimpressive in the Fitzsimmons fight as McVea does on film. I must say, I don't ever plan on getting into the fight collecting business, so I'm aware they're might be more footage out there that I haven't seen from both guys, but from what I've seen there's little to choose from them, except that Corbett clearly fights under a more aesthetically pleasing style.

Anyone who thinks Corbett looks good against Fitz should switch their interest to wrestling.

To be fair the films are so bad that its really not fair to judge, but if you are to make any judgement on it, it doesn't bode well for Jim

I can provide specific examples where corbett impresses on film

I could also provide specific examples where some of Johnson and Dempsey’s best opponents don’t impress on film

If it's an actual boxing match I'm all ears buddy. Who do you think has the best resume of the 3?

You knock yourself out, I couldn't give a flying **** what you do. I have no interest in your hatred of either Jack , its too absurd to attach any importance to.
We've only just got over your last crusade about Elmer Ray lol. Now no doubt we can expect a series of threads matching Dempsey with the super heavies. How sadly predictable is that! I wont be participating so
    I DGAS!

Classic Mcvey, we all know about your double standards, and hidden agendas regarding Johnson and Dempsey and your hatred of Marciano. I think you’re the only poster who watches Marciano Moore and finds more things to criticisize than be impressed about. Speaks volumes on your inability to recognize fighters abilities watching film. But Mendoza and Klompton and others take you to school when you go to far with you Johnson and Dempsey fantasies.

Didn’t you just make 10 Greb threads the other day after someone said “Greb would beat Dempsey over 10 rounds”?

    More double standards

Most Elmer Ray was the better heavyweight than Tami Mauriello. I made my point.

I know you have mental health issues. I won’t go too far.

Harry Greb is my number 1 p4p fighter of all time and my number 1 middleweight.
I made 4 threads matching him with different fighters in none of them did I disparage him in any way
You go where you like .You have your pal Mendoza to pat your back, fine company for you!.
Mendoza couldn't take himself to school, if he ever actually went there ,and he sure wont be responding to my challenges for proof of his accusations.
