Very noted American boxing writers awarded Joe Calzaghe fighter of the decade from 2001-2010, I don`t know what to google to find out the name of the body of writers that gave him the award but was it the Ring magazine that awarded Pac this title? Who did he beat for the IBO title? because I didn`t think it was a respected organisation.

I love that you felt the IBO International was worth including as its own line item as if it was in peerage with the rest of those.

BWAA — Boxing Writers Association of America. And Hatton held the IBO, ring, and lineal titles.

This. The IBO is a joke and I also can't give PAC credit for winning a 154 belt at a catchweight, but even without counting those its still an amazing list of accomplishments.

I also want to say that it's an absolute joke that Toney won fighter of the year in 2003 and not Pac.

    I agree!!!

You could also say that Pac deserved to be Fighter of the Year in 2014 and 2016 as well.

In 2014, Pac beat 2 undefeated fighters in Bradley and Algieri. Bradley was elite and P4P and Algieri was a good B opponent. I don't think any fighter had a better set of wins or a single win that outweighed Bradley + Algieri.

Then in 2016, Pac beat Bradley again and added Vargas to his scalp... again, no one else had a better set of wins that year.

    2014
    • Crawford beat Burns, Beltran, and Gamboa
    • Inoue beat Hernandez, Kokietgym, and Narvaez
    • Kovalev beat Agnew, Caparello, and Hopkins
    • Walters beat Darchinyan and Donaire
It's razor close w/ Inoue, but Pac edges him.

    2016
    • Frampton beat Quigg and Santa Cruz
    • Crawford beat Lundy, Postol, and Molina
    • Roman beat Arroyo and Cuadras (most felt he lost)
    • Lomachenko beat Martinez and Walters
Quigg sucks. Cruz is an okay scalp. Lundy, Postol, and Molina are all B- level. Arroyo is B level and many had Roman losing to Cuadras. Walters was a great win, but Roman was always B level and was faded as hell.

Pac beat Bradley and Vargas, the best 2 wins in boxing of any fighter.
