No tears of joy, Ali losing to Holmes worst feeling ever...but was close to tears after watching Benn McCellan. Knowing the outcome and then watching was heartbreaking.
Near clinical depression after Tyson bit Holy and Steele stopping Taylor Chavez fights. I think I stopped watching boxing for almost a year or so after both fiascos.

I've seen way Too many gr8s since I was a kid to be emotional over any one masterful performance.

David Tua versus Shane Cameron got me in the feels hahaha, not sure if it got much attention internationally but in NZ it was household news - its basically all people were talking about, much more than anything Joseph Parker has done so far... sadly.

Anyway, it brought out ALL the casuals... somehow Shane Cameron had been hyped up to be the biggest thing NZ had ever seen, and he was basically going to bash up David Tua to leapfrog into a chance to take on the Hayes and Klitschkos of the world. I remember being literally the only person at my work who thought Tua was going to win, I just couldn't see how Cameron's record built up of at best the kind of guys journeymen fight to keep something resembling a winning record meant that he'd have a chance against, let alone destroy Tua.

We went to a pub playing it and literally the whole pub was cheering Cameron, but I stuck to my guns. I bet my entire group of workmates a beer (ie, they all owe me beers or vice versa) and they thought it was hilarious and gave me my last chance to back out at the ring walk - but nope, stuck to it.... but doubled down on the "When Tua wins this, this is does not go down as a fluke - ok?".

    It was beautiful ahhahaha

GGG v Canelo 1. I was in tears of disbelief at the scorecards.

Yup, I was going to say Morales vs Pac 3, as well. On the flip side though, we’ll always have Morales vs Pac 1 and Round 12;)

Don’t know if you remember the post fight interview or not, but it was classic. Pacquiao blamed the loss on his shoes giving him blisters on his feet.

Actually, I’d forgotten that until you just mentioned it. What I remember was when Erik was asked why had he turned southpaw for the last round...”Did you like it?” Man I miss that guy
