May as well boycott big fights in Vegas as well. Comped tickets given to celebs and casuals who just want to be seen. Jacked up prices n crap seats...

Hearn hasn't signed enough fighters for this to ever be properly viable. The ONLY way it would work is if there was a complete monopoly (like UFC)

Boxing should be under an umbrella rather than different promotors etc that way it's less likely we will be duped.

I'm all for paying a monthly fee if there are regular shows, high quality fights each month and on a regular basis, and just lots of boxing.

Frankly boxing is drowning in greed, like other sports and DAZN will fail because of this.

You lot are entitled whiners. The sense of entitlement from boxers and fans is why the sport is in the current state.

You may have that luxury but do you have any idea how large a percentage of boxing fans continue to exist below the poverty line? This is 2018 so everybody with a functioning TV, even in the ghetto, has internet and/or digital cable, and maybe a package with some add-on channels like ESPN and maybe if they feel like splurging on them either or both of the premium cable giants in the boxing market (HBO & Showtime)...but those people can't afford seventy dollar monthly PPV's on top of that, and they honestly can't even afford to justify the additional $15 or whatever for a HIGHLY specialized content source that only really offers them any value a couple of hours per week (since if they are working crazy hours like most are, they're lucky to catch the occasional Friday or Saturday night fight and not much else).

I have one. And the fact that you think anybody today who lacks the disposable income to justify a frivolous expense like a live streaming app for boxing (something which has for over a century been, save for a slim minority of PPV and before that closed-circuit deals, largely broadcast on free-to-air or commonly available public avenues, on basic cable and before that network TV and before that radio) shows that you are privileged and tone deaf beyond reasoning with.

DAZN is only $9.99 a month with no PPV's plus more content than boxing. Cancel your large cable contracts if you can't afford it. I don't how you guys pay over $55 for a PPV now that is robbery. Hearn is good ticket price wise in the UK, never had a problem or been overcharged for a fight. He would rather have a full arena than over pay fans. The popularity of his shows has caused problems with people abusing the secondary market however. I'd expect him to have a similar approach in the U.S and he has said he wants to go to new cities.
