Why did JC go on to face B-hop in April '08 whilst Froch fought Rybacki in May '08?

If they met when they could of met Joe would of schooled Froch big time. If Jermain Taylor can run rings around him im sure Joe could. I think Froch watched Calzaghe vs Ried a few too many times thinking that was Joe at his best.

Froch learned a hell of alot in that Super 6 and came out of it a much better fighter but him and Joe are on different levels.

Agreed. Froch was far more honest and pure with his career. No smoke and mirrors coming from. He extracted all he could from his relatively untalented toolbox. He left nothing to chance or imagination. One of my favorite fighters.

Calzaghe was far more talented, but we never found out how great he was. Or even if he was great. Because he never tested himself and took a hard long honest test in the ring. One fight over a prime Kessler isn't enough to fully take advantage of his ability.
