shame, cos lewis had completed his comprehensive hurt job on vits inside half time. if only vits had the ability to be so clinical.

Most of those nobodies and gatekeepers that novice Lewis fought for his first 15 bouts lasted about the same distance as vitali. Are they all going to turn up expecting a rematch too and ...show no mercy?

Get a grip mate, you have lots of good points to make on this forum and I enjoy debating with you but when you start calling a retired 52 years old man with a fine record as a boxer a coward because he's not taking part in some ludicrous circus you're just inviting ridicule and contempt.

 

Within the boxing world people who do what Lewis did, are called cowards. It's just what it is.

Obviously to the layman on the street, he is a warrior for putting on a pair of gloves and getting in that ring which course that goes without saying.

It's like a solider of war he can be brave for deciding to sign up to the military, only to be considered a coward during battle, because he decided to run away from the gunfire when the bullets began firing back at his team.

Is that man to be applauded and not called a coward who disgraced his country?? No because when it really mattered he wanted no part of the action.

Lewis like Billy Joe Saunders, he had a bad habit of on going back on his word, biding his time waiting for prime fightings to get old before summoning the courage to get in the ring with them and resorting to using illegal tactics in the ring.

Within or outside the boxing world the standards you choose to live by are yours and yours alone to determine. In my case it involves trying not to say anything about someone online that I wouldn't be prepared to defend to their face. If you'd stand and call Lewis even at 52, a coward you're at least a braver man than me, although you'd still remain wrong in my view.

For that matter I'd be wary of assuming that a man who run's away from gunfire is a coward having not been in that situation myself but having spoken at length with friends and family who have been in combat. My experience is that veterans, even those decorated for incredible acts of individual valour, don't make snap judgement about others either but your experience may differ.

Vitali should just Knock the punk out, for ducking a rematch and going back on his word.

on 2 weeks notice Vitali gave him a beating. and Lewis like a coward celebrated a victory because of a CUT! What a coward Lewis proved to be. If he was a true warrior there would have been an immediate rematch.
