Yes, that is what I mean. I shouldn't post when I am tired. Yes, and the power of Wilder is enough to stop Foster.
There is absolutely no point in comparing Wilder to any former great HW's. He doesn't even compare to any mere contenders from the 80 or 90's FFS. And I begrudgingly say that because I still like Wilder, despite his annoyance, and over inflated sense of worth. His technique is still sloppy and poor at time, and he doesn't come close to having a resume that suggests he can or would compete against elite HW's. We've seen big and talented HW's who faltered when matched against technically superior fighters. All Wilder has going for him is some size and power. I could envision him dfeating some LtHW's of course...but FFs...LtHW's are where we have to go? Until he actually defeats some worthy fighters, this might as well be Andre Berto versus SRL...
Pound for pound, Foster is the better fighter but Wilder is a heavyweight. Foster did not do well against heavyweights. Foster was a tremendous puncher and though he was a Light Heavy, he probably hit as hard as Wilder who is himself a tremendous puncher. The difference is Foster cant stand up to Wilders power and Wilder can probably handle Fosters power. The reason is that Wilder is a heavyweight.
